Haven’t been here since pandemic started. Lobby was open. Very nice renovation, and good choice of music playing inside. Guy working the counter was very sweet and brought my order to the table as I was having a bit of trouble getting around. Ordered South Valley twister style smothered in red, cheese, with fries on top. As good, if not better than I remember it.
This location as with others have gone downhill. The prices of the burritos have gone up and the size has gone way down. The quality of the contents is very poor. If I order a burrito with meat actually put meat in the burrito. Don't just load it with egg and potatoes and call it good. It would also be nice if it didn't seem like I was inconveniencing the employees by ordering food. Seems like twisters has grown to big for their pants and has lost sight of where they came from. The taste of the food and quality is just not there anymore.
I decided to eat here due to an extremely long day of travel, proximity to hotel and serious time restraints. Nope, never again. Super nachos were equivalent to those that you would find at a pop up fair on a street corner, possibly worse. I made it about 10% of the way through this heaping pile of slop before I had to give up. Every last chip was completely soggy due to the obscene amount of disgusting liquid cheese that was dumped on top. At $12 for the nachos and a drink, I thought I was going to get a decent meal. Six hours later and my stomach still hurts from the 10% I managed to be able to eat. Seriously, what are you guys thinking serving this to people?!
They claim the best breakfast burritos in town. They are not, however they might be a little healthier, as they use egg whites. When I am in a rush, love the Santa Fe.Food: 3/5
I want to give 5 stars to the young girl who took our order and helped us to customize our food. We had fish and chips, burritos, and something else. Fish was very crispy and very fresh. I didn't like ai much the abuse fish came with. It was too vinegary. Burrito tasted great too. Place was very clean. It was my first at Twisters Burgers ever. We were on a road trip. If I'm in the area again, I think I'd stop by.
We walked up to find the door of the Juan Tabo store closed 45 minutes before the posted closing time ... and watched a couple of employees scramble back into the kitchen to 'hide' ... so we drove through the drive-thru lane and were ignored there also ... so, when we drove back around the the front of the building to leave, the employees had poured themselves a couple of fountain drinks and apparently decided to close way early. I typically like Twisters ... and will re-visit other locations ... but not this one.
I ordered a Taco Salad and regular fries. The fries were undercooked and the Taco Salad was submerged in what I can only assume to be beef juice. Completely soggy and absolutely disgusting! I do not recommend eating here. F-
Usually rate higher but this location gets lower rate due to miscommunication and cook preparation mistake. First we were greeted with the main doors locked and found the side entrance open. Placed our order for two number 4's for dine in. Order taker said she would either call us up or bring to table. We had appt to go to and wondered where the food was. I went to see if it was ready and found out it was sitting up at window for awhile. I brought to table and we found the burritos were barely warm and the wrong ingredient prepared with bacon instead of sausage. Love Twisters but will avoid this location on Juan Tabo.
Last time I get food at any twisters. Non of the locations give me the burrito I order thru the drive thru. I get beans when I say no beans. No bacon when bacon comes with what I order. No excuse.
