Two Rivers Bookstore

Two years ago, I was a little worried that Two Rivers Bookstore may no longer exist in Cooper Young. However, I am pleased to say that this beautiful, unique bookstore is here to stay! The owners, Heather and Sara, are so wonderful to talk and work with. : For those of you looking for a store that offers a wide variety of vintage books, clothes, and local works of art, I definitely recommend stopping by! Not to mention that they have German science fiction comic books and Chinese magical realist stories, two thing in life that especially peek my interest here in conservative Memphis, ha ha! :D

I visited this charming little bookstore in the Cooper Young district while in Memphis visiting my parents. It is small, but that's OK. I was able to pick up a series I'd been on the lookout for. Their selection was somewhat small, but it was still pretty diverse with a lot of classics in the sci-fi/fantasy/horror genres, as well as quite a few titles you just don't see at the larger commercial bookstores. I will be back next visit, and I hope that Memphis supports this store so it can thrive and grow.

One of my most favorite places in Memphis to shop. Love all my vintage and independent designer clothing from there. Super happy with the essential oils I got last time, too. And most importantly, the selection of books including vintage is incredible and the store owner is super knowledgeable and helpful.

If you love bookstores at all, definitely check this one out! It's kind of hard to spot from the street, but it occupies the same building as Java Cabana. They have a unique assortment of Sci-fi books as well as cool novelties you can't pick up just anywhere. Very excited about this installment to Cooper Young, it fits right in!

Great resource for new/used/vintage sci-fi, fantasy, and weird fiction. Tucked away in Cooper Young, with a cozy welcoming atmosphere. Amazing selection with an awesome, knowledgeable owner operator. The best stop for all lovers of science fiction and fantasy.

I'm from out of town and I was looking to kill a few hours taking in the local flavors. A fantastic little book store. Smells amazing when you walk in the door. Prices are crazy good, and I'm a cheapskate. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place to find horror and sci-fi books. Check out the lose dice you can buy or order a D&D/ RPG book. maybe look at the specialty items or collector box sets.Plus some candles, incense and a few other interesting items. Tell Heather Wahya says hi!

Small, local shop with a hippy meets sci-fi atmosphere. Impressed with their selection of paperbacks! Seems like the type of place you could find something you've been looking for for a while!

Good collection of used, new, pulp and local books and Analog magazines as well as being a convenient place to buy dice for tabletop games. Awesome staff, great location.
