Ultimate Protection and Sound

I came in one day to get my radio checked out and end up ordering another head unit online. When the unit arrived I went back to the shop on 1/13/23 to get it installed around 3:30pm. I decided to buy one of their backup cameras to go along with the head unit. I added the backup camera before the installer started on my car and he made a remark to the manager, "I don't know." Shortly after another customer came to get an alarm system installed. After an hour and 30, the manger calls me to the back saying the head unit I brought was defective because the backup camera only showed a black screen with the parking assist lines. The manager told me, "that happens when you buy used products sometimes" and the unit i bought was 5 years old. He tried to sell me one of their radios since they already connected the wires and I had to pay for the labor but I declined. I got in the car and saw my steering controls weren't working and the manager said they were just changing out the headunit. In my radio that was taken out I had the steering control connected so I thought that was a no brainer. I took my car to Moon Audio the next morning and they fixed my rear camera and installed my steering controls. The installer told me it was a wiring issue causing the camera not to show. I'm sure the manager could've figured out the problem at Ultimate Protection & Sound but they were more focused on getting the other car finished and leaving for the day. If the customer service was superb, the manager could've asked for another time I could drop the car off so they could figure out the problem.

This place is awesome! I have a Prius Prime which has a curved back window, which is difficult to do. Took them almost 4 hours but they wanted to make sure everything is good. I felt bad for them to take extra people to work on my car and caused some delay to some other customs. I would've have paid a little more than we agreed on earlier because of their hard work and time but the owner was very friendly and curtious and didn't ask for extra money. I'll definitely recommend anyone who wants to get their car window tinted, and if I want to tint my windshield in the future I'll'll definitely go back to them!

Lee was a wonderful person to deal with. I love my alarm and I love my tinted windows. My alarm has let me know how many people have been bumping up against my car, and I didn't even know it, until I got my alarm. It went off all the time, when I first got it, because people were actually bumping into my car when they walked their dogs, but now, they are being more careful when walking by my car and so my car alarm rarely goes off now. I really love the ignition startup, getting in my car, and having everything all ready to go. Very satisfied with this place and very satisfied with Lee. Thank you so much Lee.

took my car here ,it is an older vehicle, 96 cadillac fleetwood the windows look fine until i rolled down the two back windows there is a 1/4 to an inch gap of window not tinted, i took it back he said there was nothing he could do about the situation, that there was no way to tint that part of the window due to how the window rolls up and down UNLESS i had someone take the window out of the door panel, so now i have to take it to another place that is able to tint the whole window properly with out having to take the door panel off, over all the job was good, its just an inconvenience and more money i have to now spend to get the job done correctly for the two back windows

Initially, they installed remote entry on my car. It is a work around solution at a good price. I would give a 4-5 star if thing don't keep breaking. The stuff they installed broke three times in two years. And I paid again and again to fix it. The quality of their job is low. They don't install my door back properly. The owner don't take responsibility. He blamed the aftermarket parts he sold me is doesn't work well. He then advised me to buy factory part and install somewhere else. Update: Had other shop checked. It's the string comes loose, the door is missing three fasteners. And they used glue on the handle bar. It's not the door motor/actuator not working well. Simply because the original person working on this did not do the job correctly. Instead of giving excuses, refusing to take responsibility, I hope the owner should think how to do the job correctly.

Great work. Installed my Remote start/alarm system and LED low beams. Coming back to get my Miata done soon!

The owner was very friendly and nice. He helped me remove the ten year old tint which was very difficult to remove and replaced with new tinting on the back and rear sides. He is a trustworthy person who did not sell his products to me based on his earnings but really what fit my needs. My car now has the new tinting for couple months and no bubbling/quality issues were found. I am very happy with his service and so today I went back again to replace the front windshield tinting. The service today was excellent as usual. Pricing was very reasonable. Be prepared to spend at least couple hours here because there are usually couple customers' cars jobs to be done before yours. However, the wait is worth it if you want your car's tinting done nicely without problems later on.

I recently got my windows tinted at this place and they did an amazing job! After going to different places to find the best deal, I came acrossed ultimate protection & sound. Right from the get go, Mr Lee provided me with excellent customer service. Not only did he explained to me all the different kinds of tints out there, but he also gave me a reasonable price for a ceramic tint. Will definitely be back for any future auto needs. Highly recommend

I have been coming here since 2011 when I first go my truck alarm. They have been taking care of my alarm services ever since, and I will be bring them more business for my radio installation. Great service, and does not attempt to get over on his customers.
