Unbakery and Juicery

A very cute place, inviting clean aesthetic, but easily the worst coffee experience I’ve had in KC. Should have been alarmed when ordering a cappuccino the girl at the counter responds with some numbers and I have no idea what she is asking or what she is expecting. Finally after several awkward moments I explicitly said I had no idea what she is asking and she responds what size cappuccino. Highly recommend they do some research on what a cappuccino actually is (it should only be a single size (6oz) and how it is properly prepared. Was so diluted I took two sips and left. Chose two juices, they were as expected.

Only took off one star for lack of a lot of options, but the food they do have is delicious! They have acai bowls and very interesting "milks" like a charcoal milk or a blue milk that tastes like fruit loops! As soon as you walk in, you feel like you are in LA. Very cool decor, and there is a drive through which is nice if you are feeling lazy! Definitely worth a stop.

I found this place in a Kansas City magazine while waiting in the doctors office a few months ago. This place is just screams Kansas City and is a great spot for lunch or a coffee break. Staff is very helpful it’s just all around good people and the food is excellent.
