Unemployment & Disability Office

If I could give a zero I would. This agency is s disgrace. My poor sister is suffering and was approved for disability on 2/8/18. She has not seen one penny. I contacted them today and the representatives refuse to give me their names/ID numbers. A woman named Sharon hung up on me. She is a disgrace of a human being. Shame on this State.

What a disgrace that the state makes it so hard to see if you qualify for unemployment by making sure nobody answers the phone and walk in visits are not allowed. What the hell am I paying state taxes for. And state employees think they deserve the benefits and pension we give them. What a joke NJ has become.

Servers are only available during working hours, and even then can't handle normal load volume. Calls usually result in a busy signal. If you get past that to the automated system and want to talk to someone, you get told there's "High call volume, try later" and then disconnected. Eventually after a few days of trying to call, you might get put on hold instead of disconnected. Took me 3 days of trying to get to that point, just to be on hold for 1.5 hours, and then finally get through and have them say that despite the online status telling me to call them, I didn't need to call. Now I need to fill out a claim for an extension... but the server is too busy.

Been calling this place all week the minute it opens and still get put on hold for three hours. When they finally do pick up, the call gets transferred and dropped without ever talking to a agent. This place is the worst and nobody does there job here. Absolutely un-American

This office is so mismanaged it is a disgrace. I am calling my representative, the Governor’s Office, 60 Minutes, Channel 6, anyone I can to expose the incompetence starting at the top. I have been told by Doctors this system is designed to make it impossible for everyone to provide information. Anyone having a problem should keep calling their state senator and leg. District representative. Keep complaining and jamming their phones.
