The man who owns this place is great. He is very helpful and the prices are terrific. I always find the products I need their and he has so much more to offer.
If your looking for a wig from the 1970s then this is the place for you. I guess the owner thought my daughter and I were going to steel something because when we went to leave he had locked the door from behind the counter and wouldn't open it until he saw we weren't hiding anything. I'm sure it was because we're white. Honestly, there was nothing worth sterling. Haha
Tony is a great man. Some days he does have he's days but I ask him and he told me, so at times it's not good to assumed sometimes it nice to ask them and giving a empathy it won't hurt unless your time is not worth to have a careing heart. Tony this is Cynthia Medina Roybal I will give u call thx for everything God bless
Unisys used to be a good place to shop. Willie used to be a great man, with a great personality. He treated me very kindly, and it wasn't because I was caucasian. It was because he was a good person. He was very knowledgeable of his products, and would go out of his way to please his customer's. Unfortunately, as time progressed, and Willie got older, I believe that he became afflicted with Alzheimer's, and towards the end of 2011. He was was becoming very frustrated, because he would 'lose' his order's....he would set something down, and then wouldn't remember where he put it, etc. He would say the cost was one thing, when it was clearly marked differently, etc. His business suffered greatly as a result. It went from being an orderly shop, to one of complete disarray. Instead of someone trying to find out what was wrong with him, people publically denounced the man. I too, was the recipient of a few of his frustrated 'tirades', and if I hadn't known better, that he really was NOT like the man he was towards the end of his business career, I'd have sworn he was a horrid monster. He would scream at people, deny that he had product - that he would be standing right in front of, and a whole plethera of other issues. Willie, I believe, became frustrated, scared and acted out in anger, due to his frustration. He should have gotten out of the biz, a long time ago, but he didn't want to. It was his pride and joy. I can only pray that wherever he is now, that he is being cared for, in the manner befitting the respect he used to garner. Don't judge him too harshly folks. You really had to know the man BEFORE he became confused and angry. He was a very wonderful, kind, and helpful man. I myself, even though I had been 'tossed' from his store too, will always remember THAT man...and not the one we all saw at the end. Trendz is a great shop, if you are searching for good products. They do NOT beat around the bush. Their prices are fair, and they are the best game in town. Please visit them, for your haircare needs.
