United Artists Colorado Mills 16 & IMAX

I have seen both Deadpool 2 and (previously) Black Panther at this theater. Good quality seats, screens, sound and your standard, 'expensive', snack fare😋. I watched DP2 in their IMAX and, to be honest, I would have rather waited the half hour to watch it on a 'standard' screen and saved the extra dough... The screen is not much bigger than their other screens and somehow seems narrow, ratio-wise. The sound is good. I don't think the sound added much... It did sound louder than their standard screens, but I felt reduced clarity quite a bit... The elevated seating was really nice and the proximity to the screen helped the lackluster size. I do really enjoy this place and will continue to support this theater! I do suggest you bring your friends and watch movies here! It is right next to Colorado Mills Mall, (with a wide variety of food options and places to walk around/peruse, before or after your film!

Overall great experience and good place to see a movie conveniently located much closer to the mountains. 😎 I like the setup and proximity to good restaurants but they have the longest trailers in advertising I've ever seen. The biggest piece of advice I could give would be to upgrade seating to something more current like AMC or the downtown location for United Artists as I really think that is going to affect traffic in the future. There are a massive selection of films playing here and the stadium seating combined with flat seating worked quite well. Popcorn and food options were all right but definitely not the best considering everyone else is upgrading. My experience was great and just wanted to offer some feature suggestions. The new laser projection systems in 4k and IMAX are super cool to experience first hand.

Comfy seats with great views. Sound system is decent and loud. Busy on the weekends. Good location that's easy to get in and out of. Close enough to the mall to visit without the hassle of the theater being actually in the mall. Buy tix ahead of time.

Hot dogs are terrible! Hard and gross! Pretzel sticks were hot fresh and yummy.

I was really taken back, when the lady taking our tickets said to me "So are you gonna leave the country now, for 4 years,"? I was stunned and I had nothing to stay, expect my eyebrows were raised and jaw was dropped. She went on to say," you know, because the elections, your leaving for Canada right?" I do not appreciate being polically profiled, when I am not wearing anything that shows my political affiliation. I am not looking for a political debate. I did nothing but smile at the lady and hand her our tickets. It's funny because I'm from the South, and I have never had anyone treat me like that because my lifestyle may appear to be different from another. Common Courtesy. I respect people regardless of their political affiliation. I will not however tolerate bigotry, and hate. I was made to feel unwelcomed and uncomfortable, and will take a moment to speak out and say something as I feel it's important to take time to remind folks that we need to maintain dignity, maintain common courtesy regardless of political affiliation in this country right now. Being kind to each other is more important than ever, and I hope to see that being maintained with the attitudes of your staff. EDIT/UPDATE: I received a letter in the mail, an apology from management that seems genuine and truly concerned about my experience. They seemed to have responded appropriately to handle the matter internally.
