The Saturday morning tour at the beginning of the first auction is pretty cool! It’s best to see how enormous these fish our and the practices used to harvest them. Worth the educational experience
Went to the Saturday morning tour, held during the daily fish auction. Not only did we get to see the freshly caught fish up close, but we came away with a new found appreciation of the hardworking fishermen who supply us with the sea's bounty and the governmental oversight which strives to maintain a customer safe, sustainable, and environmentally responsible fishery.
Good selection of tuna today and priced very well. In and out in under an hour with a nice size big eye.
It was in possible to get a bid in for a fish all the regular fish buyer crowd together and do not let any outsider get in they move like a pile of crabs arm to arm and move down the isle. It was a complete wast of my time get up early and be treated like that They are so unfair I will never waste my time ever!!!!!
