United House of Prayer For All People

We went there for lunch. I don't know how the church service is. Everyone was extremely friendly The food was very good. I didn't like the string beans because they were canned. If I lived in the area I would come back more often. Great place, great price.

Why is the House of prayer still requiring face masks, do the leaders not keep up with current affairs and or have common sense? Just went there to grab some lunch, the server handed me a mask, I handed it back to her and said I can't wear a masks, she then said, Well you already touched it, I can't take it back. Didn't she touch it and hand it to me. I told her the mandate has been over for sometime now. Then she started babbling about that doesn't pertain to them, but she will serve me this time. I was close to walking out, there food is alright, but not worth $14, and I got to hear some bogus masking rules, Hell half of the staff was improperly wearing their mask anyway, everyone eating didn't have a mask on. Does the pastor wear a mask when he is preaching, does the choir wear a mask , when they are singing? Stop with the ignorance. I will never go there for lunch again, I have several choices. Primitive thinking, Preaching has ruined the Black community.

I'm only sharing this today because I found it hard to believe. So as usual i only had my card on me. I proceed to order my lunch and got to the end handed the lady my card.. She paused for a min, says I'm sorry we're having problems with the card reader I'm gonna reboot and try again..ok mamm thats no problem I understand how that goes. So after 3 attempts she says it's not going to work. SO I BLAME ME FOR NOT HAVING CASH FIRST OFF.... BUT AS SOMEONE WHO PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT AT LEASE 2 TO 3 TIMES A WEEK. U WOULD THINK THEY WOULD SAY THIS TIME ITS ON US ,BUT NEXT TIME PLEASE TRY TO HAVE CASH. PLEASE DONT LET IT BE ABOUT THE MONEY .... I FEEL AS THEY DROP THE BALL WITH THIS ONE... BUT NO HARD FEELINGS. SO WHAT U DO WITH THE PLATE YALL FIX .JUST PUT IT BACK ON THE LINE? AND SO YOU KNOW WHO I AM. THE LADY WITH THE RED HAIR THE food is too good not to come back.. I'll just have cash from now on..

Chaotic but joyous and friendly atmosphere. The food is absolutely wonderful. Fresh and delicious. It's like going to grandma's house for dinner.

Had lunch there. It was pricey and seems like the portions of food are becoming smaller and smaller. They don't even offer you a refill on your drink if you dine in!

I don't go to this church. But the people who owned place must be very good people. Because I had to my family to a school fair. And were kind enough to let us park there. I just felt very bad that some people who parked there for free didn't have enough respect for the place. Because car in front of me just threw all there food in the parking lot in front of us.

The best soul food in Charlotte! The Mac and cheese is consistently the best. The dressing is absolutely delicious, they don’t always have it, but man so good. I the collard greens and the meat loaf is yummy… wait the yams are amazing too! Okay, everything here I have tried is good! Don’t waste your time looking for soul food anywhere else… this is the spot! Trust me you won’t be disappointed!

Gospel Shout in May is great! Not every day you hear trombones in church.

I went to the House of Prayer today for food, and the service was good up until I got to the cash register. The older women at the register with glasses was rude, nasty, ghetto, and very uninviting. I expected professionalism, especially because it is a church. I expected better, and I hope she gets it together because I definitely won’t be back. This is a church and did not feel good.

I love to go here to worship. Nothing but the true word. And a true spirit.
