How's the contractor I opened up an account My account was still in holding when I got to the store he told me that if I bought it in cash you would refund it since I had opened up the app and the account. Upon bringing back the stuff that I didn't need, I saw the guy I had a conversation with but somehow he grew amnesia and was not willing to honor it even though I had an account because he said you paid in cash and I told him what we did and he still just lied! Unfortunately customer service means everything to me as a contractor I will no longer be using the store because I need truthful people and honest people and I could not find that here! This is why the construction industry has a bad rap is because of integrity issues like this promise one thing and then don't deliver!
Just a heads up for my fellow drivers, this is a back in only property. They start unloading around 9:30 am so they can take care of their local people first. The only issue I foresee is the amount of traffic that goes around that corner too fast..
Called them 15 minutes before they closed. Sat on hold for 30 minutes and no one bothered to answer the phone. Presumably they went home and left me on hold.
I have come on business for somebody else. The employees of this company are very rude. I don't know if they meant to be rude or if it was just one of those days. However I was not unpolite and I gave them multiple opportunities to fix their attitude towards me. And yet we were still there at the same place with that attitude. And in my opinion that is completely unacceptable. They have officially lost my business. And The business of the person whom I had gone to their place of business for.
I have been doing business with these guys for about 25 years and they are one of my favorite supply houses to do business with. One thing nice about them is that they are locally owned rather than being a huge corporation.

My only Dealings with USBS was with the Siding and Windows division. The project was replacing siding with steel siding and new windows on a duplex. After some initial conversation the sales manager visited our home and did a nice presentation and indicated that he was the expert on the siding that we were planning on using. He took measurements and said that he was going to get it nail down nice and tight. In a short time we had a proposal that we went over with a few minor changes. The process was nice and smooth. The order was placed with payment of one half. Things changed from here on. Half of the siding was supposed to be delivered initially; instead we received entire order creating a minor storage issue. When the windows arrived we were missing one window from each side and which still hadn’t arrived when the siding process started which created a delay. A bathroom window on one side came without the obscured glass while the one on the other side has the correct glass but was for 2X4 framing instead of the 2X6 framing had a trim guy fix this. My contractor was contacted by USBS that the two windows holding up the project were in. When I traveled from Silverthorne to Denver to pick up the windows it was discovered that only the screens came so the delay continued for a few more weeks pushing it closer to snow season. The windows finally came in and had the wrong exterior color. Not being able to delay any longer agreed to have the window company come and paint the exterior in the spring and the siding continued until the front door arrived but was for 2X4 framing so another delay. Once resolved only had the upper front to finish with Board and Baton at which time we discovered we only had about half of what we needed plus we had 7 to 8 square left over of regular siding. I guess that the self-appointed expert didn’t get it dialed in after all. In February we started conversation in regards to returning left over material. I had checked with the manufacturer who said that there would be a 40% restock fee plus shipping. After telling us numerous times that the material couldn’t be or was hard to return they pick up the materials on June 1st and on July 26th was told that they USBS had received their refund minus the shipping and restocking fees. I have on numerous occasions explained to the sales manager that they were refunded what they paid for the material and by returning that figure to me they were still keeping whatever mark- up was passed on to me. I asked for an itemized account of the returned product and price to compare to my invoice. I was told what I got was all I could get because it was a non-stocking special order. Funny how that profit margin still ends up in their pocket. I have called and left a message as well as emailed the President in regards to this and have not as much as received an acknowledgement after 2 weeks. If you are into self-abuse then these are the guys for you next project.
Great customer service. They offer wholesale gutter, Windows and siding supply. This is the preferred warehouse to many contractors due to the great attitudes and great pricing offered here
Staff is friendly and helpful. In the early AM the lot can be full but that only due to good business. Great company to work with.
Great staff, super friendly from office to warehouse. Also our orders are always right, and service is fast!
