Office staff is inconsiderate and rude. Tell me that I personally had to go get my husband's medical records, would not email me the release form for me to sign so I can just do it that way make it easier since I don't drive. Had to call and report them to guest relations twice. The department manager never left a message I had to personally call her and all I got was excuses of why they would not schedule him and excuses of we still had to go get his medical records and I had to argue with her before she would email me the release form for them to get his records. I am still waiting for that release form. University health orthopedics department at the main campus on Charlotte is very medically unprofessional and rude. This is very unacceptable for a medical clinic.
Maybe after my 3rd surgery in a few months they’ll get it right. They take 0 accountability, if anyone has to do rework 3 times in any line of work you’re doing something wrong. I’m just praying work comp will approve another surgeon than Dr. Shaw and University Health. At this point they’ve just done nothing but give false hope and toy with my life. It also doesn’t help their case they’ve been harassing me about bills that is work comps obligation.
I am an older long distance runner and needed a Menicus Root repair surgery for my Knee. Dr. Luallin performed the surgery 1/2020 and the outcome was perfect, and I have been running pain free for 4 years and going now.. I highly reccommend Dr. Luallin and his staff!
I’ve been active duty for the last 13 years, and have been to dozens of different clinics, hospitals, specialty care providers. I can say that this clinic, and especially Dr. Shaw, have been the most patient friendly and professional staff I have ever seen. They went out of their way to fight for me even when I didn’t ask in a way that TRICARE providers never have. I’ve never considered what it would feel like to miss a health care provider over my time in service, but I can say with confidence that I wish I could bring Dr. Shaw and his team with me.
Great doctors. BUT if you have medicaid, you should beware. They violated STATE REGULATIONS by billing me instead of my insurance. If you get a bill and have medicaid, call your insurance and verify that they sent things to your insurance. Additionally, they deleted my previous review and I will continue to post my review again and again.
The Nurse Practitioner did such a great job listening to me before my joint injection. She added X-rays to learn more about my pain and I didn’t feel rushed. The front desk staff are very kind too!
This person tells me I need an order to get a boot to support my right foot. I have tendonitis and it's painful! According to this person, the boot could cause an injury and they'd be liable. I've been visiting this clinic for almost two years and I've gotten many boots. I was never told to get an order for a boot once! Also, I received a steroid shot from here two weeks ago. The person who gave the shot assured me I'd be in less pain once it settled in. That's a lie! I'm in more pain to the point that it hurts to be active. I've done physical therapy as was ordered in March. My session ended in May. Although the order was made two years too late . I've kept up with follow-up appointments. I see Podiatry in October. These people let me walk out of their clinic not just in pain, but angry. That's negligence and unethical!
