University of Washington Intramural Activities (IMA) Building

This is a big place with lots to do. There are 3 work out areas, a track, 5 multi use courts for basketball, volleyball, etc, a pool, large locker room with steam room and shower, and even a cafe for grab and go foods. It should be noted that despite it's size when this place is busy it's BUSY. Large crowds and no space to actually work out will be the case during peak hours.

Various activities available: - Weight Lifting - Lot of treadmills - Indoor swimming pools - Squash Tennis/Racquetball - Badminton - Basketball/Volleyball - Badminton - Outdoor: Tennis/Beach Volleyball/Soccer Lot of lockers and showers (too open though) All of these are free for UW students (include in tuition) and available to public with small membership fee Easily transport by Link light rail and paid parking spots nearby

The IMA will nickle and dime you. Left belongings in locker and due to work schedule couldn't make it until today to renew. The personnel wouldn't even let you look to see if they had your correct belongings until your money was in their pocket. I paid good money to attend classes here. Due to this encounter I have decided to place my money elsewhere at a different gym. Don't waste your time with the IMA if you're a community member.

Great facility but I feel like a dirty old man sometimes.

They have all the necessary facilities you need: basketball, volleyball, racquetball, tennis and badminton court, a swimming pool as well as a 3-floor gym. They also have equipment for rent!
