The online reservations system is great! Love that many parks have photos of each campsite with maps. Fees and costs are very reasonable given that time outdoors is priceless. Thanks to all who maintain the reservations system and public lands so that we have access to them.

Washington state park trail system has a branch that ends in Raymond Washington and there is a Killdeer nest 7 1/2 feet away from the trail that ends at willapa bay 300 feet away. The Killdeer nest is on state park property but the state park trail system gave an easement to developer with out doing an environmental assessment during nesting season for migratory shore birds. The developer also has permits from Washington state ecology department and city of Raymond who also failed to do environmental assessment for migratory nesting shore birds during nesting season before issuing permits. The state park property with the Killdeer nest is scheduled to be bulldozed on Monday May 14, 2018.

After reading the other google review, I've decided to simply camp and hike without paying. I'd rather take my chances than get get screwed over. The parks do look nice.

Booking my campground was great. BUT when i called to cancel the reservation i made THREE days prior, which would have been a full week before my camping trip, they charged my for not giving them a week notice. I was never informed i had to give a week notice and i didnt even have a week to give them. They were supposed to listen to the recording, see that the man who scheduled my reservation never told me id be losing an extra $20 without a weeks notice and they were supposed to call me back. Its been 3, almost 4 days now and im just being charged every day for not cancelling it. Also, bridgit, the girl who helped me when i called to cancel was very snooty and not helpful at all. Will never book through them again.
