This place is a nightmare. My father went in there from San Antonio for rehab to build up his strength from pneumonia. He was left on the commode for over 45 minutes. No one ever acknowledged him or said good morning to him he was just another person at the facility. Just a simple hi how are you doing today would’ve made the experience so much better. The food was absolutely horrible. I was told that they would check for Covid every other day which is a lie he came home tested positive for Covid and so did I which resulted in hospitalization for myself. I would make unexpected visits and people would be coming in and out of the facility without masks on. I could never get in touch with my father‘s nurse to see how he was progressing they just treat you horrible my father is a 90-year-old veteran and I don’t know what they did to him in there but he has not been the same since he has come home and I will get to the bottom of this. Please do not send your loved ones to this facility it is absolutely horrible it may seem that they care but they really don’t it’s all about money. It’s disgusting and dirty for the amount of staff members that they have their this place should be running tiptop and it is not the health department should get involved.
The one star is generous! Most of the staff was nice enough; however, Only one or two that seemed to truly care and do their jobs. The Administration is AWFUL. My parent rarely looked clean and was always wearing somebody else’s clothes. Communication is horrible and facility operations are shady. Think twice before placing yourself or a family member in this facility!
I worked here from a registry and now I know why nobody wants to work here full time, nobody cares around here, not enough CNA to patients , cockroach infested saw about 20 roaches when I opened a patients draw, housekeeping terrible, nurses rude and unprofessional I have come to realize that these facilities isn’t about the patients care it’s about the money. I would take a lethal injection rather than being here
My mom was there for 2 years. They did not take care of her. She died there by herself. They were only after the money. PLEASE I'M BEGGING YOU ALL, DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONES THERE!!!! THAT PLACE NEEDS TO CLOSE!
What an amazing place! My grandmother enjoyed her stay! She said the physical therapist were fantastic and the nursing staff were so kind. The food was great and she said the staff went above and beyond to meet her needs. Highly recommended!! 5 stars!
Upland Rehabilitation And Care Center definitely does their job and does it well. I personally have observed the facility and staff with respect to patient privacy. The facility is very well maintained and presentable. It definitely has a welcoming and comfortable vibe for the patients. I must include the fact that every time I have entered this facility it as always had such a beautiful scent at the main entrance. That is very well done. However I feel that I must conclude this review by stating that a small group of nurses have a lot of room for improvement. Not all, but some. I have observed specific staff members who don't really see their charged patients as a priority enough. The other staff members do an excellent job. Upland Rehabilitation And Care Center does have my approval and recommendation.

My mom came to this facility after having major back surgery when she lost feeling in her legs and after learning that she had cancer. I would frequently call to make sure she was ok and she would say “this is a good place & these are good people”. I want to give a special shout out to the Kaiser team that watched over her: Rhonda, Karen, Rachel, and the physical therapists. And thank you Claudia at the front desk for always being kind when I called.
Well just got here yesterday so far the staff is questionable. They seem nice but will see as my stay goes on . I asked if I can read i the lobby for a bit .They we’re ok but with some hesitation on some nurses . I will rate my star as week my weeks goes on.
Very poor attention to my mother. She went there after multiple surgeries at Loma Linda. She was a complicated case and went to this facility with a new ostomy and wound vac. Upon arrival my mom said only one person welcomed her despite being passed by numerous employees, then she leaked from her ostomy daily and when the issue was brought up by her and then me, their excuse was "well she has loose stool...." Then her wound vac would repeatedly alarm and my mom once again voiced her concern. The wound vac was changed routinely, but instead of calling the doctor or addressing the issue, she was patched up and left there. I spoke to multiple nurses and case managers voicing my concerns. The answer was always "we'll look into it." Covid restrictions really made this place able to continue operations without any regulation. My mom ended up being readmitted and had additional surgery to remove the infection that grew in her wound. Absolute lack of basic care. I wouldn't send my dog there. And to top it off the case manager called me the day after she was readmitted to tell me an outside company handled her wound care and that none of this was their fault. The insurance company contracted their wound care in the facility. They tried to place blame on someone else.
