Farm-to-table new American cuisine served in a cozy, living room-like ambiance. The menu was nicely curated with seasonal ingredients esp. lovely vegetables and greens and beautifully executed in the open kitchen. The dishes are rich in flavors but not overly complicated. Enjoyed everything we ordered, especially the fiddlehead cavatelli. Tasting menu is available at chef’s table with reservation. Also great selection of wine and seasonal cocktails.
This was a first time for us sitting at a chef’s counter and watching all the liveliness of the kitchen! The service was impeccable, staff friendly, and delicious and varied tasting menu in an intimate setting. It was particularly cool watching the chefs plate the meals. Thank you to everyone for making our celebration so special and one to remember!
Took my husband out for his birthday dinner here. The foods were super delicious. At first I thought the portions were small, but once you start eating, it turned out to be a lot. Loved the presentation. Romantic environment. I like it.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
Chill hipster diner with great food. They have a very wholesome vibe and hearty food. Make sure you order their lamb tartare and fiddlehead cavatelli
I went for the set menu $120, but that was only by reservation. The food items are very well presented and per item price is relatively modest highest is $28, however, you do need two of the big entrees last one in each category, I ordered the pork and fish, see the menu, was told the first item is just appetizer, therefore, I ordered two full entrees for myself to fill your stomach unless you are an extremely light eater or on diet.
Magic. That’s the word I would use to describe my family’s experience here. We have a toddler and it’s pretty tough to find a good restaurant that we will like and he will as well, but everything we ordered our toddler loved and we did as well. Also, we randomly dropped by and they were able to seat us. The kitchen is tiny and the fact they can serve the amount of tables is astonishing given the outdoor seating. Our experience here was vegetarian and they elevated simple vegetables to just an extraordinary level. Our toddler ate Brussels sprouts. “Let that sink in.” Worth the money. Definitely go here. Expect about $60-75 per person.
Good table service, slow kitchen. Biscuits are bomb dot com. One of the apps and one of the cocktails was unappetizing and a struggle to get down. Other apps and a mezcal drink were excellent. Best part was the popcorn ice cream. Not a fan of the restaurant layout. Park at Eastern Bank afterhours.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
This is a gem of a place in North Cambridge. Cozy atmosphere, with friendly, attentive service. Creative, well-balanced menu offerings -- we look forward to trying the tasting menu in the future advance reservations are required. Negatives: food came quite fast, and at times we felt rushed; the menu is very limited which perhaps isn't amenable to those with dietary restrictions. Giving 5 stars even with these minor flaws because our evening was truly a lovely experience and so much better than most Cambridge restaurants of this type.
Another great experience at this little gem in q2 2021 and I’m thrilled they survived the pandemic Warm and wonderful. This little restaurant with living room feel is absolutely adorable. Service is great and food is wonderful. We party of 3 had 2x the 3 course menu and 1 x the 5 course menu so we could try all dishes. All dishes were well balanced and delicious. Would love to go back again.
Exceeded expectations. Great flavors and execution. Ricotta was fantastic as was the perfect pork cheek. No pictures of my food because that’s tacky. Decent playlist. Lighting could be dimmed more for sure. Nicely done all around.
