US Post Office

Great location right off Summer St. Along the harbor Easy to walk to /find with great signage. Cute spring decor up to welcome guests and patrons at the entrance/exit The worker/cashier at the desk was a bit sassy with me when responding to my question maybe she was having a bad day? but other than that it was a nice location.

I needed to send out an important mail and the only post office that was open after 8pm was 25 Dorchester Ave. It was my first time visiting this location. I must say what a "Wonderful Staff and welcoming" atmosphere. It was worth the 30 mins drive. The clerk #50 that helped us was very patient and beyond helpful.

Good service to customers but I am giving only 3 stars because the management does not respect their employees and there is poor communication. During the holidays employees don’t know that they are supposed to be getting paid overtime or that don’t have to show up to work. I was in the PO Box lobby which is open but the rest of the post office is closed. Ran into an employee just now who showed up to work and didn’t realize there was no work scheduled due to the holiday. Also checked the official USPS website and there’s no info about closed status or holiday hours. It’s sad that even the employees don’t know they’re closed. Management performance needs to be reviewed.

Today, I received the most amazing service from Rajinder. I left a folder with my 2 passports among other very important documents. He returned them to me in the most friendly way, even asking me to make sure all my documents were intact. When you receive this type of service, it reminds you that there are still people who care about others in this world. Thank you Rajinder!

I live 10 minutes away and have been using the Boston GMF for 30+ YEARS and everything about it is SUPERB ! Open 365 days a year until MIDNIGHT the GMF is the Main Processing Center for ALL of Boston’s and it’s surrounding Towns mail it greatly cuts down time going from smaller Post Offices to here as it’s the size of a LARGE Hotel with MANY USPS Employees getting the Mail to YOU !!!

This location is convenient because of their hours, but some of their staff are rude and without a desire to help. Today, the lady helping me took a deep breath and rolled her eyes when I asked about the price difference to ship the package. Also, she was rude to the people before me too. I don’t understand why the USPS office has people working at their locations if they don’t want to work or do their job, like answer questions. If you go to this location, get prepared for bad customer service.

This USPS is open until 12am 7-days a week and is located in a convenient place. They don’t have printers so you should print the labels beforehand. The whole return process took less than 5 minutes. Friendly and helpful staff.

I just did my first passport appointment! Jo was so wonderful and caring. I appreciate all her help and the process went by within less than 30 minutes, immediate positive review and experience for this incredible office. This is the only place I would go for a passport and they also do photo services for you on the spot. Amazing and thank you

USPS service was reliable. Now it’s slow at best and on average inept. I sent a First Class package on Dec 8 to Staten Island NY and it has been lost in shipping since dec 12. I could have walked there and back by now. I want to support the workers but their level of service just doesn’t deserve my time, money and trust.

Opened 6am-12pm every day including Sunday. Great staff. Had an international package returned by customs due to not having enough info on my custom forms. The lady I worked with took the time and effort to make sure my forms are filled out correctly, proactively spoke to her supervisor on getting me a discount to remail the package even though it wasn't really their fault. A++
