The most broken down post office ever! They DON'T do package pickups like they claim. Ask for a pickup and they'll mark it as completed and never stop for the packages! So you have to go in to the PO just to drop off... Half the time their door is locked and they're hiding somewhere. There's always an excuse, the computer is down or they're on their 2 hour lunch break mostly. Their lunch is 12 to 2 and you're lucky to catch anyone after 2. This post office might as well not exist, worst in Philadelphia, maybe in all of the USA! Try calling... What a joke! Terrible attitudes that I'll avoid if possible. Go to Willard or Front street, where they know what they're doing and actually care.
Today was cold and rainy so I decided it was perfect to drop off my package to the Post Office on Germantown ave. I must have picked the perfect time as well. Usually crowded today I was able to walk right up to the window. Never been in and out of here so fast before.
Every time I come during “open” hours there s a sign saying “back by 2:30” or “back by 3:30”. Might as well not be open at all!
I recently visited the post office to mail a package, and I had a terrible experience with the clerk. When I arrived at the counter, I asked the clerk if he could get me a digital copy of my receipt so that I could keep it in my records. However, he resisted heavily and claimed that there was nothing they could do to help me. He held up the line of people waiting behind me, which made things extremely inconvenient for everyone involved. Overall, this was a very unpleasant and frustrating experience, and I would not recommend going to the post office in the future. Even just trying to get a simple digital copy of the receipt was an impossible task with this particular office. Needless to say, I left annoyed, inconvenienced, and disappointed with my trip to the post office.
Every single time that I've tried to go to this place within this business hours it happens to be closed. They're hardly ever open and there's always people waiting for them to reopen on the outside or they take 3 hour lunch breaks.
I went into this post office branch at 12:30 The gentleman was supposedly " on lunch ". I got tired of waiting, and left at 1:55. Needless to say, I'm very confused. Because they close at 4:30, and I've gotten there at 4:15, and they're closed.
They are supposed to close at 4:30 it is only 2:00 and the inside is locked. This is horrible
The worst service. Additionally, packages are consistently delivered to the wrong apartment buildings as if the carriers can’t read. And on plenty of occasions, my packages have been marked as an attempted delivery, when no bell or knock to my door ever occurred. Mind you, it always happens conveniently right before the expected delivery time. Covid aside, understanding that the postal office is short staff, an investigation needs to be launched whether the delivery people are actually working bc there seems to be not much of an issue from the mail carriers.
This Post Office has its own hours. You go there is either a sign not open untill whatever time they want. Or doors locked no sign stating what time opening but, the hours say 9am it's 10:30am.
I'm so sick of these thieves, their investigations are never complete with accuracy until I had video proof and I never got an apology or reimbursement for the stolen items that they claim was already delivered. No, the company sent me another one free of charge I assume because they're use to USPS robberies. And people complain about certain groups of people awhile the non talked about is robbing Everyone blind. Look in your own backyard before you speak on someone else's. Lazy good for nothing customer service 2 hours on hold and they're going to wait until 5:00 and disconnect the call watch and see when I come back to give an update. All I needed to know was which information was correct is my package being delivered like my conformation says or is it in a locker at the local office with no deliveries today like the app says. Now if I pay to go to the post office and they tell me that it's out for delivery then what? Who's going to accommodate my loses
