Well, this is fun. I'm at my 2nd stop of 2 post office locations with self-service kiosks. The 1st location was opened but the kiosk was out of order. This location has a working kiosk I can see through the window but the doors are locked. I thought they all were open 24 hours a day so people could access their post office boxes anytime and people could use the kiosk. I'm sharing a picture of the posted hours but they don't even list the lobby/kiosk hours. Ugh!
90% of my packages look like this! I don’t understand why you have to create such damage! Usps us the worst but fedex is running a close 2nd. At least usps give you your damaged package. Fedhex hides it. And the did not pay my $500 insurance.
Got notification that my package was not delivered to my house. But was available for pick up in morning. Drove to post office in afternoon and was told my package was still on the truck and hadn't returned yet. No explanation on why package couldn't be delivered. Have no idea when or if they will try to redeliver package or if I need to come back another day and attempt to pick it up again.
I haven't been able to get my mail from here for a very long time. They are never open. But charge $101 for a post office box that I can't get access to. Why is this place taking money from people for boxes they can't use?
Kiosk works but doors are locked. Don't waste your time coming here.
Although busy the line went rather quickly. Employees are very efficient, friendly and smiling.
Though this location hardly ever has a line….the workers are NOT the friendliest. I JUST left this post office. The white lady in there said “I can help who’s next” I then walked up and said “Hello, How are you?” And she said NOTHING! Absolutely nothing. Smfh customer service goes a long way!!!!
They say that they can take my mail because it was to many packages but I seen other people that had more packages and still took care of them she told me that they can take more packages that I had to do line again but she told me not to do it because it was too late even do they supposed to take care of the people they already inside she say that she won’t take my packages because I had already sent some before
This location opens at 8:30 am Monday through Friday, I arrived at this location Tuesday December 8, 2020 at 8:35 am and there was a long line in the lobby area people were waiting for the doors to open to the retail area of the post office so they could mail their packages. So the post office manager came out and he informed us that none of the post office clerk's reported to work today, he has no staff to help us, so that N. Decatur post office would be closed for the day. Now that was unprofessional and very inconvenient for me and others that was there waiting to take care of our business. I had a feeling to call this location before I went so I did. I called that morning a few times and they never answered but I called this location a few times before for something else and they never answer the phone. And we I called the USPS customer service number they informed me that I need to call the Red Rock post office because the N. Decatur post office I wouldn't be able to speak to anyone at that location.
got a xmas card from my mother in the mailbox , it was cut open on one side, im assuming that the ppl working at the post office were looking for cash or gift cards in it , thx god my mom didnt send me anything, its sad how we cant even trust the post office...
