Valley River Inn

This hotel is awesome! Right away when I walked in I noticed the massive chandeliers hanging from the wall, the roaring fire and an older rustic like cabin feel. I'm a sucker for all things cabin so this really struck a soft spot for me. The entire trip I felt very relaxed looking out the windows to find big green trees and an ever flowing river. If you can get a room facing the river I highly recommend it. Had breakfast at the hotels restaurant Sweet Waters. Paid, I believe, $16 for the breakfast buffet which included coffee or tea and it was well worth it. When I got here everyone raved about the bacon and I was not disappointed one bit, it was delicious! I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking to relax, go for business (big meeting rooms and places to sit) or to escape the world for a weekend. Can feel very disconnected if you need it to which can be an amazing thing every once in a while. Thank you for the awesome stay!

I've been here several times for different meals. The food is great and the menu is fun and interesting. They have a bloody Mary bar, a decent breakfast buffet and great service. I recently ordered a delicious salmon fillet bagel with chive cream cheese. It was a whole fillet! So amazing!!!

Great place for conferences and events. Nice big parking lot for everyone to park. There are multiple rooms, so the location can support multiple conferences at once. Bathrooms had plenty of stalls. Restaurant downstairs. The dinning room and outdoor patio has a scenic view of the river.

Very friendly staff from the front desk to the housekeeping. Liked that the rooms had a nice balcony and small fridge. Rooms where very clean and bed was comfy. Nice fireplace in the lobby and they offer bikes for a couple of hours to ride around in. Keurig coffee makers with good coffee too. Very convenient to shopping and good restaurants in walking distance. Really enjoyed the lodge style feeling here. Again, VERY friendly staff.

I like this place. Sure I could nitpick a few issues on age and some needed updates... but they have never failed to provide a great location and perfect layout for convention use. Comfortable, clean, presentation support and private areas to pull aside. I'm good with Valley River.
