Van's Fish Market

Van's fish market is the only place around here that has ocean fresh fish were the taste is fresh. The rest of the places although they try hard, and some of them cook the food properly, doesn't have the infamous taste that Van's Market does. The main reasons why I like this place is because the taste of the fish reminds you of how real fish is supposed to taste when cooked properly. And they have the ocean or sea taste. I have purchased fish from Van's many times. I am never disappointed and I get to pick out the fish I want. It's not a fancy place but the fish and other items in the store make it easy for me to have fish and fries when I am ready. Their prices, as far as I am concerned, are not as high as some stores and I get to select the fish I want and it isn't prepackaged.

Smells awful in there. Disorganized, unkept.unkempt. The fresh fish options looked dreadful, not at all "fresh".

I love their fresh seafood but I also know I can order for seafood to be cooked and ready for pickup

Ding is a excellent person and his staff is extremely helpful, their products are excellent. You will not be disappointed.

Building is junk. This place needs to be Remodel or closed down

The best place to purchase a wide assortment of fish and seafood. Your selections can be prepared on sight. Fried to order. There is also several aisles of canned goods and staples. Check expiration dates on some items. Over all very good concept.

I've been here before but it's been a while, I recently went and I must admit, the food was decent and the portion size was good as well, but the customer service sucked. I didn't feel very welcomed at all, and that's a big deal to me, Sort of felt like he was saying "here, take your food and go" I don't know if I'm going to go back at this point, may have to find another fish market.

I would have gave you a another star, but the last time, I was there purchased some spoiled fish!! Usually your fish is delicious. Check your fish more regularly and watch to see if your customer are wearing their gloves!
