Vander Veer Botanical Park

This is always a pretty park to visit when you need something to get you outside. Kids can play at the playground with the jungle gym and swings, there’s a pond, lots of area for walking and running, a botanical garden, and a fun big water fountain! Cool place

This a really nice park. If you have kids it's a great place for them to see ducks and geese, play on the playground see the fountains, go to special events like movies in park. If you don't have kids it's still relaxing place to relax with flowers shade and a walk around to excersise.

Great place! Beautiful flowers! Staff very helpful. The spider plant project was awesome. I love Vander Veer Botanical Park. It's a must visit during any trip to Davenport!

Great place to take my son. They have a nice playground, a small pond you can fish out of and ice skate on in the winter. And a huge open area for kites, football or just to run around. There is a botanical center to walk around. In the summer they have activities for the kids once and a while. They have movie and popcorn in the park sometime during the summer. Just check the internet for activities that are going on.

It is so beautiful at this park and I have never had a bad experience. I love all the information and the creativity and resourcefulness that they are showing the young minds!
