Hands down to one of my favourite dining experience in Amsterdam. Food was wonderful, with super friendly staff. What I like the most was the choice of music, fine dinning with hip hop makes the atmosphere not too uptight. Absolutely loved it

Had a splendid dinner at the chef’s counter. Absolutely amazing food and just wonderful all around. Slow cooked pork belly is amazing and langoustine & blueberry is out of the world.

Vaneerveen is old-new school cool fine-dining and is second-to-none in Amsterdam. This bold team, supported by LP’s from Tim Mai, and disco African beats on the decks are steadily setting a new standard of cool in the fine dining scene. reserve in advance - take your time - choose the Omakase with wine pairing.

Lovely experience, fantastic and interesting flavor combinations. Amazing wines, kind and thoughtful service. Only recommendations are to offer a cheese course option we are not big fans of sweets, and a half glass wine pairing option. Either way we will definitely recommend and come back for a next menu!

Having booked a table at Vanderveen, so as to enjoy the unique culinary experience it offers, one knows more or less what to expect. Namely, nothing less than the highest standards of flavor combinations and layers, and a presentation which is second to none, with a meticulous attention to detail. What is totally unexpected and exceeding any expectation, is the friendliness of the staff, who remind guests what true hospitality is all about… especially the ones living in Amsterdam where service is bad and people working in hospitality are mostly rude. The staff was communicative, joyful, most helpful, love what they do and that is more than obvious, when one is enjoying the experience. Relaxed atmosphere and great tunes in the background. Each course and the wine pairing was a complete immersion into the chef’s creative mind. Immersive, engaging and leaving you longing for more. It won’t be long until they receive their Michelin stars… whatever that means. An absolute must.

Spectacular! Best duck we have ever had. Several of the dishes on the tasting menu were truly extraordinary. And, wine pairings were superb. Enhanced both the food and the wine. One in particular, with a squid dish, was a lesson in why wine pairings exist.Food: 5/5
