don’t listen to the other reviews. sam vasili, boris and the other men who work there are literally the broadway shoe doctors. every single broadway wardrobe supervisor sends their show’s shoes there. they are truly experts in their craft and have even made custom shoes for kiss & madonna. i’ve worked on broadway for the past 7 years and absolutely love this place the walls are covered in show biz artifacts & these interesting men!

Don’t go there! I’ve been there few times! Disappointed! Over charged, yelling at clients and rude! The old lady there was rude and yelling at me! I paid 55 dollars to put half shoes bottom layers and clean my shoes. The shoes were half cleaned! I asked her to clean my shoes again and pay her! She was yelling at me! I respect old people! I don’t know how to deal with rude old people!

Extremely rude to a ridiculous level. No-one should ever go in here. Literally the worst experience of speaking to another human in my life.

Terrible customer service. I left a handbag to fix and they charged me in advance. They only gave me a piece of paper with a number, they do not issue any receipts nor accept credit card. When I went next day to pick the handbag, they wanted to charge me again and the guy threatened to call the police because he claimed I did not pay. I recorded him with my phone threatened me and told him I would post on the internet for everyone to see their poor customer services. He immediately called his boss to ask if I paid for the service who confirmed that I had paid in advance. The guy gave me the handbag and apologize in a very rude tone. Sam Vasili employees are awful. Do not go there. This place deserves to go out of business.

Terrible experience. The man working there was very loud and scolding. I felt scammed. They charged me $50 to fix something that the next day I paid for and they told me it was not possible to do what I had requested, but they took my money anyway and scolded me. They should have not taken my business if they could not fix the shoe to do what I needed it to do. The man running it is very cocky and arrogant.

Very rude woman. I walked in today to ask how much it costs for cleaning a pair of long suede boots. The woman gave me a quick look then talked to me with her back facing me. ‘$40!’ She said. I’m not sure if the price us right but definitely not leaving my boots here No wonder so many one star. Guess we all wish there’s an option of zero star.

Don't go here. They charged me $20 to reattach the sole of my shoe with glue and did absolutely nothing else. Then he blamed me for not challenging the price when he quoted me. Normally they put a new sole and buff the shoes. They did none of that and it's my fault it cost to much. I hope he goes out of business soon.

Horrible experience, I call ahead to make sure they could do a shoe shine in store and they said yes. The woman was very rude and refused to use Polish on my shoes. I paid $5 for a 15 second cleaning. will definitely never go back

I called to get souls inserted at the bottom of my shoe and asked how much they charge- the man told me 25$ per shoe. When I told him I’m bring in five Pairs of shoes, I asked if he can give me a group rate since I’m going to be sending all my shoes there. The man who answers the phone started yelling at me with extreme aggressiveness and spoke with no respect. Worst service I have ever received in my life. Wouldn’t go there now even if u paid me! Deff would not recommend to anyone! If they can’t even speak normally and treat u properly-Im deff not trusting them to handle any of my valuables.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. The lady is so unpleasant an rude, it’s quite incredible. Gave a try to the place twice. First time, she was too busy on Facebook to attend me, second time, she was fixing her hair and her way to greet me ended up being “what do you want”, rolling her eyes.
