Residential Management is not best performed by the faint of heart. I fully admit that my neighbors and I can be high maintenance and sometimes our requests and the manner in which they are made, would make our parents blush. When I moved into this building, I had been a suburban home owner for decades. I did not relish dependence on a “management team” to attend to my needs. I tried to manage my expectations and hoped for the best. Recently, Paola Collazo, became the Carlyle’s Watch VGL management representative. “Po”, as we have been encouraged to call the rep, has been extraordinarily responsive to our needs and requests. I live on the top floor. VGL, Carlyle’s Watch and I have struggled to find and repair a leak in the roofing over my study. When I reported it to Po, permission was requested and granted to get find a competent roofing company almost immediately—within days not weeks. The professionalism, eagerness to solve problems, polite demeanor and urgency with which issues are handled is really exemplary. I highly commend VGL for finding this responsive employee and can truly say that I have begun to feel more at home in my own residence.
