Just picked our daughter kitten up from getting spayed on Friday. I always enjoy the attitudes of all the staff members at this location, from reception, to assistants, to the doctors themselves, they are all obviously friends of animals and lovers of all pets. Dr. Knighton is caring and thorough and will exhaustively answer any question or concerns you have about your pets. Our kitten is doing great today Monday and all post op care instructions were clear and concise. VCA staff is always available for questions concerning our little loved ones. I drive from the Ikea area in the Southwest part of town, to their location on Spring Mountain and do not mind one minute of the trip. Thanks to everyone, at the Spring Mountain VCA, for many combined years of care, for both of our baby cats!
Having a new puppy comes with allot of visits to the vet, questions, and concerns just like having a baby. I'm so happy I choose VCA Spring Mountain for all of my puppy's care. They all are the best at what they do and truly make you feel like part of a family! I even use there boarding services to, takes the stress out of worrying, since they've known him since birth. Top notch in all services they provide!
Old white receptionist was extremely rude when I called to schedule an appointment she refused to share availability so I had to come in at 7am because she did not want to set an appointment. I had to drop off my dog that has a bunch of separation anxiety just because the EXTREMELY RUDE old lady refused to help. Then finally I came in at 6:58 said “good morning” and the same miserable old lady said “the doors are open but I’m not helping anyone out until 7am!” With an attitude. She could have said “good morning” and shut up instead of CONTINUING to give a nasty attitude! Then finally my dog got seen, no one called to notify me. The doctor never called me to follow up on my dog being seen and added an extra “heart worm exam” that I did not ask for just to jack up the price. Worst experience I’ve ever had, extremely unprofessional receptionist and terrible vet for not calling. I paid almost $600 and I don’t even know what happened with the results or my dog because no one followed up. Will not be going back racist receptionist and unprofessional money hungry vet.
Will never go back !! I arrived 20 early, was the only person there . The reception person made a point to loudly complain i was too early . She also had some trouble finding my dogs information. She got rude about that and acted as if it were our fault. we left shortly after. When i got home just by feel. I could name 5! other Vets to go to instead. I also want to make sure my dog gets the right shots . In a clinic like this i don't have any confidence . I Will never bring my dog to a clinic like this !!!!!!
I took my dog Max here for a checkup and everyone was so friendly! From the receptionist to the vet assistant, to the actual vet. Taylor was amazing and made sure my dog was at ease. I definitely recommend this location in specific!
I've been going to this place for years. It's such a hit and miss here. I love Dr Knight that's why we keep going here. Idk where yhey get their receptionist from but Jesus... I have a care club for my puppy and they charged me for the visit. It's supposed to be free when I called and asked about it no apology or anything. The vet techs are usually really nice and my babies seem to like them. There's always confusion on the front desk. There's been time where I had to call in for medicine or appointment and there's no confirmation or no call to pick up whatever. It's kinda irritating cuz I live in the other side of town so it's not like I can be a nuisance in their office. This place makes my anxiety go up tbh but our vet is great we love him
So my wife's family has been bringing their pets to VCA before they became VCA and just recently when they got taken over by Mars some things have gone downhill. It all started when my wife brought her sisters puppy in for some vaccines and was two minutes late due to accidents along the way. The front desk refused to see her even though we have been loyal patients for many years. Then we were misled to believe we could have our dog spayed and a gastropexy procedure done at the same time. Dr Knighton did not know why they scheduled us for the two procedures when he does not do gastropexy procedures. We are members of Care Club amd were informed that we had to go to another VCA for the procedures. The next incident involved crediting us the amount for the spay where they ended up charging us for it on our debit card instead of a credit. That took several days for us to get our money back. Then they could not decide if they were going to cut us a check or send the credit to the other VCA. We absolutely love Dr. Knighton, Loni and the other techs and every thing they has done for us. If it wasn't for that, we would be looking for another vet.
This is the most wonderful animal hospital we have been to. The staff is warm, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Knighton was kind and caring and knew what exactly what was wrong with our dog Lulu. She is already getting much better with the medications he gave her. We are grateful and we highly recommend VCA Spring Mountain Animal Hospital.
Bear and I are very happy with Doctor Roger Knighton he takes good care of my kitty he is patient and answers all my questions.
I have to take my cat here every month for a nail trim. The team here is caring and professional. I haven’t had any issues in the service I’ve received. I loved using the free examination coupon because I recently moved here from NY. I had my cat examined in NY before I left, but it was nice to have her receive another check up after the flights just to make sure she was healthy.
