Stopped here for the first time the other day for some ice cream. I was pleasantly surprised by all the varieties of food and ice cream available. There's not really anywhere to sit other than a couple benches, so plan to take your meal home with you. The ice cream was delicious! We plan to go back and try some of their food next time.

Food is very good. Almost too many choices for ice-cream, shakes, & floats. Any kind of soft drink combinations. Must stop if your in Hernando.

Velvet Cream also known as "The Dip" by locals has a vast menu. You could eat there everyday for a year and not have the same thing. The Dip is legendary and the staff is especially friendly. Service is fast and the quality is excellent. If you are in the are you need to stop in for a bite. You will not regret it. When family visits they want to go to The Dip.

Velvet Cream is a classic drive thru/walk up that has a menu so bug that I'm pretty sure they built a new building just so they could have space for their menu. Their shakes and burgers are so good.

Love the ice cream and always forget that you get sooo much even when you order the smallest size. Tons of flavors to chose from and not too expensive. I haven't been disappointed yet!
