It was a perfect evening. Starters, main dishes with meat and fish was delicious, desert was homemade. This place is a hidden gem. Keep the secret and enjoy. And the service was friendly and helpful.Recommended dishesVeal Ossobuco with Side Dish
Quite low food quality, atmosphere isn’t very pleasant with tables very close together and a guy chain smoking next to us. Also tables outside are right on the road. Prices weren’t low enough for this kind of quality.
Small restaurant in the city center but hidden on a street corner. The room is located in the basement furnished in a simple and rustic way. The menu offers typical dishes of Venetian cuisine, all delicious and aromatic. Generous parts with a better quality / price ratio. Polite and courteous staff.
Be aware that there is a new branch down a sidestreet closeby to the original restuarant. We were caught out by this, thinking we were in the original. Same name and menu. Food was OK, but crucially for a December evening, inadequate heating spoined out evening there.. None at all, until we said we were cold. After much fiddling with the controls, staff said this was their opening night. Some heating started to come on, but only after we had finished out main courses. We were sympathetic, but chose to leave without dessert or coffee, as we were chilled through!
We had a lovely experience at this restaurant. They were able to accommodate 13 of us on short notice and serve up excellent food at good prices.
Delicious food, lovely small location, and good service. The menu had many great and classic selections executed perfectly..
Always wise to make a booking, particularly if you want a table outside. Lovely food and very friendly staff. If you want free internet ask for a table outside facing the DM store.
We have been here a few times and the food and the service are always excellent. Tonight we had two pastas, tagliolini with truffle and fettuccini with asparagus. Truffle is always good but this place had just the right amount mixed with a perfectly cooked tagliolini thinner fettuccini . Our antipasto was a zucchini flan which was also good. I also highly recommend the tagliata di Sorana. Has this on my last visit. It is amazing and one of my favorite steaks in the area. Our server was outstanding. Set us up with a high chair and as much bread as our son could eat and really just does a lot of the little things that others don’t think of. Extra plates, bread for the baby, bringing extra silverware, checking on us. Really can’t say enough, go check it out. Sorry I only took one photo, too hungry this time!
Terrible food, expensive, unprofessional service. Can’t understand the good reviews. We cut our losses and went to eat elsewhere after paying for a full meal. A big no.
Food cold and unappetising, no wine list so house red was bland, pity as service good nice staff, will not return
