Veritas Community Church

Veritas has been a home for my husband and I for the last year... we found gospel centered teaching, plenty of grace, and a welcoming community group to join at this church. Pastor Joe is so authentic and real... they don't care about the "show," they care about YOU and they care about spreading the joyous news of the Gospel in Columbus. Can't say enough about the church's heart behind everything they do. Plus, She Has A Name is an incredible organization run out of this church.

Solid evangelical teaching, super friendly, and great music. The congregation is rather young largely college and post-college but the structure of gatherings has a traditional feel. Veritas has a heart for reaching the lost in their community. If you're nearby and looking for a church, definitely check it out!

I came to Veritas broken and in need of healing. My family and I have a lot of church hurt in our past and we have been in desperate need of clear expositional preaching from God’s word , as well as biblical community and accountability . I am thankful to say that we have found this at Veritas community church. The people at Veritas love Jesus and seek to obey him out of thankfulness in their hearts for the gospel. The leadership is amazing and are deserving of double honor . The brothers and sisters love one another sincerely and practically and they will go without so that another brother or sister may be served well. I don’t think I knew what biblical community looked like, until Veritas.

Yep it's mostly a younger congregation, but I felt welcomed immediately and am over 50. I love this fellowship of true believers who walk the talk as best as they can. The music ministers as deeply as the pastor's message and I always leave there refreshed in the Lord and challenged to spread the the Good News in word and deed throughout the Columbus area community.

First off, it’s difficult to rate a house of worship. We are all one in the body that is a global network of followers of the Messiah. This community in Columbus is extraordinary though and deserves to be recognized as a place that serves the underserved and represents the underrepresented. From supporting their local area in many practical ways to providing a safe place to fellowship, Veritas in the short North is unparalleled. With fantastic praise and worship music, weekly communion, and an emphasis on small group meetings during the week, I'm excited to be part of this vibrant community.

My home church for over 4 years now. This is my community and my family. Led by a wonderful staff who’s vision is preaching the transforming message of the gospel of Christ, and helping our church community bring Christ into a community broken by racial, social and economic barriers, that often times hinder it. So very thankful for this place.

One of the best church communities in Columbus. Very welcoming, inclusive, lively, and encouraging. Services on Sundays at 9am and 11am with kid's Sunday School. Generally young adult/parent crowd with live worship and Gospel-centered teaching.

After interacting with several of Veritas' core leaders, I can't more highly respect a church. These guys are kind and caring and strive to be a huge benefit to their communities, both personally and as a church.
