Most incompetent management board I’ve ever had to deal with. They haven’t been introduced to technology yet, still require hard paperwork to get anything processed. They’re so cheap can’t seem to purchase a software that can assist with paperwork. Whenever we need something they take their damn time and provide ambiguous explanations on how to proceed. They think they have so much power over there. I was actually scolded by one of the idiots over there because I highlighted their incompetencies. Bunch of losers who run this management.
On the phone they have always been pretty rude. Nasty attitudes are not needed when someone is just asking a question. After them not helping me at all with a problem that I was having in the building I decided to move out. Drama isn't needed.
Veritas manages several town homes for us and over the past couple years I've had a terrific experience. I've worked with a lot of management companies through the years and its rare to find such a mix of bright personalities, strong communication and fiscal responsibility. I work with Sandy and would highly recommend them.
Veritas is the most honest, efficient and responsive building management group I have known. We brought them in to manage our condo on the upper west side and they made difficult issues easy. Veritas was liked by building staff, board members, unit owners and tenants alike. Even our outside contractors said they were the best managers to work for. After years of experience with Veritas I highly recommend them.
I recently worked with Sandy Adelsberg, as she was the listing agent/broker to an apartment I was looking to rent. Unlike some of the other reviews here, my experience with Sandy has been great and essentially seamless, in terms of communication and getting all of the administrative tasks done hassle-free. I move into said apartment at the end of the month -- and would certainly work with Sandy and her team again in the future. Thanks! -Nic
Incredibly rude and grossly inappropriate behavior. ** EDIT in response to Veritas' reply : 1 there is no elevator in my building so that couldn't have been the reason but I understand that might be the case in other buildings. If I had had the chance to speak during our call, perhaps we could have better understood each other which sadly leads me to 2 I was yelled at for 3 straight minutes by a property manager who when I asked several times to "please get a word in" during the yelling, yelled back "no, actually you can't," before yelling a little more and hanging up on me. My disappointed and disheartened review is not because of the actual answer to my question I am a reasonable person and can understand the answer was no, but because of the way in which I was treated and that the situation was handled. I think everyone should treat each other with a baseline of kindness and decency. That said, I would love for Noel to have a better understanding of customer service which seems like a fair and reasonable ask and if he and/or anyone else is interested in having an objective, levelheaded discussion, I'd be more than happy to chat. That said, I appreciate your response and effort to improve.
