Vermont Electric Co-Op

Vermont Electric has been my electric provider for over 10 years. I love the level of detail they provide online for your electricity usage; you can delve into the energy usage by hour if you'd like. You can receive alerts if you are using too much energy, among other reports. Though a number of storms have done severe damage to lines, they have responded quickly and efficiently to outages and keep customers informed throughout an event. Since they cleared trees near lines a few years ago, we've rarely lost power (including no outage during the freak windstorm at the end of October 2017).

Extremely expensive and I hate that I can’t go to Green mountain power who is cheaper and gives rebates. You should be able to choose your provider
