Went to watch high school championship game. This facility has seen it’s day. The overall appearance is a dilapidated venue; seating is ripped and restrooms needed an overhaul, overall a dingy experience. I understand the need for a centralized venue for this type of an event but was disappointed in the choice. The basketball court was placed awkwardly with huge gaps at each end of each basket and from a spectator view appeared unappealing. I can only imagine how the players view might have impacted their focus. The building itself does not appear to have had an update since the Phoenix Suns called this home in the early 90’s.
Here today for the AZ Veterans Round up. So far the people here are excited to help and ready as well. The Coliseum facilities here wrote clean and nice it's kinda strange with it being empty. So the facility is good but come on down for the Veterans Round Up. Get housing and help with all kinds of things that have to do with veterans benefits
My boyfriend and I went to the fair I had no idea that we were going to attend the Pit Bull concert that was amazing. He always put on a great show a sold out show. Afterwards we had some pretty tasty BBQ and cheese fries now the fries were honestly disgusting but the ribs were very good.
I DO WANT TO SAY, I DON'T WANT TO GIVE IT ANY STARS. I'm so disappointed with the Arizona State Fair 2022.... Very SAD! Everything you want to do you have to PURCHASE A TICKET. You can't enjoy the rides, or food after 6pm.... without paying full price... Thursdays Wristband day, $50! Wow, how is a family of 4, really able to enjoy themselves. You can only purchase until 6pm, then you can only ride til 8:30pm........Working Arizona family can't get out early from school and work, to be able to come to the fair. Then on Fridays, Foodie Fridays, $3 for some foods....... WHAT A JOKE! again only til 6pm... ONCE AGAIN! , WHAT Arizona family can afford to have kids get out of school and work early just to go to the ARIZONA STATE FAIR...... COME ON, give us a fricken break. This used to be a fun place to come, not any more. The facilities are horrible...... OLD, LOOK UGLY, NASTY.....The restrooms, are nasty, need to be updated. There is nothing BRIGHT, it looks like a 1960's movie, dingy, old musty and sad! YOU CAN TAKE IT AWAY, RELOCATE IT ANYWHERE ELSE, its not like it used to be. I didn't add any photos, to embarrassed to show others how lame and old are Arizona State Fair is.
The stand down was helpful and nice too visit... They served lunch for free .. they helped me with my animals.. I definitely had a great time... Everyone was nice... Easy to find ... Great location at the state fair grounds 19ave and McDowell Rd in phoenix, az.. if you need assistance with anything try visiting this place . You may find it very helpful ...
The Coliseum is old and run down and pretty small, but that's a good thing when you're trying to get into a concert for cheap. I went Friday, Oct 28th 2016 for the Gavin Degraw & Andy Grammar concert. Only paid $25 for really close seats and had lots of fun!
Saw Casting Crowns!! For free!! It was awesome!! Daily deals!! $2 Fridays the best of all!! Food, games and rides for $2 dollars!! Its a whole new experience !! Check it out!!
AIA basket fun. Lots of energy. Lots of energy needs FOOD. Concession lines loooonnngg!!!!
Nice venue. Holds a good size crowd and full stage production and lighting. The concert was good and loud, sound was well mixed, lights and effects were well done.
Come in December 9th and 10th fairgrounds free dental work. Come at the right time and your free dental work will be worth the wait if you gotta wait.
