Vida Southwest Grill

This is a fantastic bar with amazing customer service. The staff is knowledgeable, there is a fantastic new selection on their food menu. The cooks obviously care about what they do because the food is well above excellent. The liquor Selection is fantastic and all employees seem like they enjoy their job. The new updates to the hotel look great, there are great photo spots and this is a fantastic venue for receptions and events.

I was traveling and a one night stay took me to Vida Grill adjacent to the Doubletree. On a Friday evening I was worried because there weren’t many people in the place. I was looking for a good meal and a good cocktail. I’m pleased to say I got both. My Co-servers and B-Tenders Brandon and Lindsay steered me completely straight. The bar was well stocked with beer and liquor. First I asked for a skinny/clean margarita and Lindsay nailed it. Brandon suggested a tequila I was unfamiliar with but very good. Out of caution I ordered the chicken Ceasar hard to mess that up and it was one of the best I’ve had lately. Good food and drink. Fair prices. Good service. Only four stars because on a Friday evening I was looking for a little more energy. But I suppose that’s up to marketing.

On travel for hcokey, food is good. Talk to bartender Sam about a signature cocktails. He sold me on this concoction and I asked for less sweet. It was amazing. I believe it was called Grapfruit Spritz. I watched him mix some other drinks and he knows his flavors. Two different Old Fashioned's based on the person's taste. Very unexpected for a hotel bar/restaurant.

Had breastfeeding and dinner drinks could not have been more pleased all the way around. Bartenders are great even with know it all guess driving some of us nuts.Food: 5/5

I dont know what happened to the brunch here on the weekend but it definitely has changed drastically since the last time I was there. Almost Comfort Inn esk. Cancel Me. Bring back the old chef. No omelets offered on the weekend.

I still like it but i miss the kids menu i always got chicken fingers and fries with my mixed drinks but no longer i guess but its still ok. Kid-friendliness: No more kids menu. Parking: Good parking Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

This was way better than a hotel restaurant should be. The berry/chicken salad was beautiful and fresh. The Cubano was very good, and beer battered fries...yum.
