My family ate dinner here on Christmas Eve while visiting Boston and it was fantastic. My son and I love Italian food and are happy any chance we get to eat in a nice Italian restaurant. This place did not disappoint. The food was fantastic. The waitress suggested a nice inexpensive bottle of wine which was great. We sat in the lower level of the building which seemed like a little basement but the ambiance was still fantastic. Every table was booked and all the food coming out looked amazing. We didn't get it but I recommend trying the pasta dish that comes out and is put in a wheel of cheese parmesan maybe. They mix the pasta while scraping fresh cheese from the wheel into it. It looked amazing. I had the Pesto Pasta and it was delicious. Would return to this restaurant anytime we are back in Boston.
Amazing food. The service was top notch. The atmosphere was great. The location was walking distance from so many iconic Boston landmarks. I had the lobster ravioli on the starter menu it was a perfect sized entree dish for me.
The server was great and very friendly. The caprese salad was very typical, nothing crazy. The pasta dish was delicious but the wilted spinach was so bitter it took away from the creamy deliciousness of the rest of the dish - I ended up picking it out. Overall it was good and we will definitely give it another try!
My wife had spaghetti and meatballs and I got the lasagna. Both were really good, the gravy sauce was delicious. Our best meal this trip to Boston.
Place is nice, good atmosphere and cool bar. However, they were advertising $1 clams and oysters with the purchase of dinner which is what made me choose this place. When I sat down they said that they didn't have an oyster shucker therefore they couldn't sell the oysters? Which is absurd. The food is way overpriced. Ordered a $30 fettuccine with calamari with red sauce. The pasta was all broken in little pieces, how can you go wrong with pasta? Looked like leftovers to me. The sauce lacked flavor and not once was I checked back on by my server. The gin drink was strong and good at least.
Cute restaurant with yummy food in Little Italy We stopped here on our walk on the Freedom Trail. We felt like we were in Italy eating at this cute little restaurant. We ordered the ravioli in a sage and basil sauce and eggplant parmigiana. Both were very tasty and the service was top notch. The restaurant inside and outside is really cutely decorated.
Decent food, we had a surprise at the end. Ended up finding a roach in the water that we were drinking!!!! Manager came over said she would take off a bottle of water!! A bottle of water??!! $20 for a roach that we've been drinking unknowingly. Manager also said there's nothing more she can do. I've been a manager for many years at a restaurant, I would've done much more and much quicker in this type of situation. Not say there's nothing I can do.... just be aware.. they won't take responsibility for things you eat.
We were the first ones there...service was great. Food was amazing. Very cozy romantic place to eat.
Food and service were both okay. We were seated quickly without a reservation, however it wasn’t our first choice in Little Italy but we hadn’t made reservations The food took a little while to come out and was just ok in my opinion. It wasn’t bad by any means, just nothing special. I ordered the seafood risotto which turned out to be more like a rice soup with a ton of seafood on top. Seafood was good but again wasn’t special. Appreciative for this restaurant being able to accommodate us on a cold Saturday night sans reservation, however there are better options in this area.
We had the Veal Francesca and Calemari and they were excellent. The staff was attentive to our needs and helpful! We would recommend! Parking: Parking in this area may be a challenge. We were in from out of state and chose to walk around down town.
