Gas. Great pizza as always. Old time pizza place with some cool Italians making the pies. Criminally low prices, good service.
Great pizza! Not expensive, freshly made, very homey place inside.
Very friendly service, hospitable and the food was unbelievably fantastic! This was my first time here but I'm definitely coming back! Also referring them to other people and their prices are so affordable!
Vinny’s is a small, authentic Italian restaurant located near Beardsley Park. When I saw the older Italian man behind the counter, I knew my pizza was going to be something special….and I wasn’t wrong. Vinny’s makes one of thee best sausage pizzas I’ve ever had! I’ve visited several times and it’s been consistently good. Great, actually. They have a dine in option but I live close so I’ve always gotten my pizza to go. I can’t believe Vinny’s hasn’t been on the food network like those other pizza places in new haven because they definitely are competition. Believe me, you need a pizza from here. If it’s part of your palette, do yourself a favor and get the sausage pizza.
I was in Bridgeport and super hungry, so I called in a pizza here, not expecting much other than an "okay" pizza that I could reheat when I got home. But, when I saw the grouchy older Italian guy working the counter, I knew I had stumbled onto a hidden gem. Lemme tell you, IT WAS PERFECT!!! Best pizza I've had outside of New Haven. I got a small cheese, and not a single slice survived the hour long drive home. I repeatedly burnt my mouth on the piping hot cheese, and loved every second of it.
Been eating here since I was a kid growing up in Bridgeport. Always fast, friendly and the best pizza I have ever had!
The nicest mom and pop shop! Wait staff was personable and nice and the fettuccine Alfredo was spectacular!
Delicious food !! Great service , very quiet. Definitely would go here again!!Recommended dishesPepperoni Pizza, Calamari Squid Marinara or Fra Diavolo
Went to the Vinny’s today after visiting the zoo. We had a party of 15 4 adults and 11 hungry children. The Gentleman that greeted us was huffing and puffing saying he couldn’t serve us and he was the only one working. He actually made us feel uncomfortable. The place had no customers in the building. All we wanted was 5 pizzas and a couple pitchers of soda. I guess business is so good they get to pick and choose who they serve.
Still the BEST pizza in the area. I moved to Seymour and found a halfway decent place, but so darn expensive. Got a large pepperoni and a large sausage, onion and mushroom from Vinny's and it was a few bucks cheaper than what I paid in Seymour for just one pie with 3 items. They're old school. Same faces from when I was a pain in the butt teenager hanging out in Beardsley Park, so sometimes a little cranky, but I would be too making pizza all these years.
