Virginia ABC Store

Every single worker here makes me feel like family. I love them all! It could have been a month or two and I walk in with nothing but warm words and open arms. They ask "Where have you been, I've been thinking of you!" And "How are your babies?" Among other sweet words. I have nothing but good things to say about the ABC store on Columbia Pike.

Knowledgeable & welcoming staff. Broad selection for smaller store size. Prices usually line up with what I see online, sometimes higher but that’s par for the course. I usually park down the street at Rite Aid.

The staff is always friendly when coming. They are knowledgeable on their stock. There has never been a wait for me when I check out. You might miss the store if you aren’t actively looking for it. If you are quick, you can park at the rite aid on the next block. It is a short walk and easy to get in and out.

Is this a liquor store or liquor boutique? Very well organized and clean. I pulled the bottles up to front the shelves when I made my selection because everything is so neat and straight. The manager and staff should be very proud of the job they do every day. It was clear that the staff was professional and took pride in what they do. When I walked in the staff was busy stocking shelves and making things perfect. They quickly realized it was my first time in this store. Nevertheless they took the time to help me make my selection. I wasnt purchasing for a business. My purchase wasn't large. If I hadn't went in they would have not noticed at the end of the month. However, they made me feel like I was important and I was the only customer they would get all day. I feel silly bragging about a liquor store. But they have earned my kudos.

This is a decent place. It has its ups and its downs. Starting on a positive note. This place is extra ordinarily clean, compared to other ABC. Everything is neatly packed and displayed. During my last visit, I spend around 15 minutes, and barely heard any noise. Checking out was quick and the whole process was fast and pleasant. Although I really enjoyed this place, and like how well it is managed, there is room for improvement. The staff are really polite, but always have a grim face. They are not rude, and I think that has to do with them totally ignoring you while you shop. Some might say that is a positive point. Parking is a bit confusing. I guess I there is a parking lot for the shopping stores in that complex, but it was hard to find, and no sign was posted. Street parking is available, but you might not always find a spot. And last is a mixed point. This place is well stocked, but lack variety compared to the rest of ABCs in the area.

It was easy to navigate the aisles and find the particular item that I needed to buy. I was impressed by the courteous and swift service by the cashier.
