I had high hopes for VofA until I interviewed for a job. I had an interview, which I thought went great, and I was also told by one of the interviewers that she was almost positive that I would get a 2nd interview. But when I didnt hear from anyone I started to wonder so I tried reaching out to Human Resources and even left a message, but didn't hear back until 2 weeks later after making a big deal about how they went about things. If you didn't agree with how an interview went and or wanted to go with someone else for the job all you had to do was send an email thanking them for the interview, but you decided to go with someone else that was more qualified. Instead, you send me an email stating that the program for the position you applied for has been cancelled?? That didn't make any sense to me because after the email I noticed that the position was continually being posted on other job sites. That's just plain unprofessional! Another thing you might want to work on is that when someone calls you or emails you the professional rule is to respond within 24 hours, not over 2 weeks later when you're being called out for what you guys have done.
