I can't express how good the service is here. They are truly committed to good customer service - personable, friendly, helpful. It's rare to find anywhere that treats their customers this well.
Took 4 tries to get this pharmacy to receive my prescription. Of the needles and syringes I received, half of the needles were curved or bent, and the syringes all caught at the 1mL mark. Very disappointed
When I moved to Salt Lake City I talked with the good people at Vrx about various shots I was considering. They always had a positive attitude during our conversations. This business is on two floors with the pharmacy downstairs.
VRX is the only specialty pharmacy contracted with DMBA so this is the only place I can get my extremely expensive fertility meds. In October I ordered $4000 worth of medication, but they mailed me the wrong syringes. I didn't realize I had the wrong ones until the night I was supposed to start using them. I can't even describe how stressful that was. I ended up having to use a larger syringe that was less accurate and it was very frustrating considering the medication is so expensive and time sensitive. This month I ordered $6600 in medication and they charged me for all of it but only mailed me $1200 worth of meds. I called immediately after receiving the order and they seemed nonchalant about the fact that they forgot to mail $5000 worth of medication. Luckily I didn't need those meds right away and they overnighted the rest of the medication. If I hadn't done this process a few times I wouldn't have known what to look for or how much I needed and the consequences would have been horrifying. An IVF cycle that gets interrupted or cancelled can result in the loss of thousands of dollars. I understand that the medications and syringes are confusing believe me!, but if patients are paying that much money it doesn't matter how nice you are on the phone, it needs to be correct.
Dropped off 2 prescriptions for refill. Was told they would have to call prescribing physician with questions and they would do that and fill it the next day. 4 days later and out of med I called VRX to find out what was going on. Was told by an extremely rude tech named Jordan that they hadn't called the physician yet and it would take them another couple of days. The ignorant treatment I received is unacceptable. I plan on going to another pharmacy that treats their customers with respect.
Not an actual customer for prescriptions, but commonly visit for drinks, snacks, and the occasional allergy med. Staff here has always been polite and helpful and store is very clean. Working in World Trade Center this place is the most convenient one-stop-shop that City Creek has to offer. I'd recommend going for 75 cent ice cream on Fridays!
I tried to call and see if they had something, it rung 1 time and then a computer came on and said no one is available.
The pharmacy was so helpful in getting my prescriptions filled quickly during my lunch hour. Jannika, the operations manager, provided great customer service and even helped find me a discount online for one of my more expensive medications -- saving me more than $150. They have great drinks and fun things in the shop area as well.
My insurance requires us to use VRX pharmacy. If they did not, I would never patronize VRX again. VRX has on multiple occasions 5 as of this writing told me that a prescription would be filled, only for me to call in days later and find out it was never sent. They have sent too little of a prescription and forced me to call to have more sent. They have failed to bill insurance and used my card on file to pay the full price for a prescription that they then mailed out. I've been told the technician would call back in 5 minutes after calling my insurance company only to receive no call before they closed for the day 90 minutes later. I've had to drive two hours find trip to pick up prescriptions I had run out of because they did not send them when I called and ordered them 3 times as of this writing. The mistakes this pharmacy has made are astonishing. I truly am in shock they are still an operating business. When I confronted their head pharmacist about the issues, his response was that I should try to fill prescriptions earlier to give them wiggle room for mistakes to happen. If you want a pharmacy that does not communicate, makes mistakes with your medication, does not fill prescriptions when you order them, and blames you for not giving them enough wiggle room to make mistakes, VRX is the place for you. If you have an option, thank your lucky stars and take your money elsewhere.
With the recent fires and smoke I had a sudden and unexpected asthma attack and ended up in urgent care for treatment I was able to get a rescue inhaler but not the daily medicine I needed. It looks days to get things resolved with my DR and insurance company but I finally got the prescription I needed just as I was heading out of town. I tried to get it quickly filled with several other pharmacies but they were not helpful at all. I called Vrx to see if they could help. They not only did all the legwork they could before I arrived to get me set up in the system so I wouldn't have to wait, they also pulled the perscription to ensure they had it and they found a discount program that saved me $330 compared to filling at other pharmacies. They went above and beyond to get me out of town for work on time and saved me a bundle of money. Can't say thanks enough!!!
