The VSPOT is a Latin themed vegan restaurant which is also IKC Kosher certified for over a decade in Park Slope!

Story

We offer gluten-free options, fresh juice, fruit smoothies, dairy-free milkshakes, & desserts. We have been featured on the Eyewitness News segment "Neighborhood Eats" TaxiTV, Telemundo, BK News 12, PETA Latino, & El Diario newspaper. In addition, our empanadas are sold in bars and cafes around NYC including Pine Box Rock Shop & The Bean. (Recipes by the Carabaño brothers.)

You can also find a smaller version of our menu in the East Village at NYC's first ever "Vegan Food Court."

If you'd like a cocktail, feel free to enjoy it out on our front curbside patio!Danny Carabano was a Math teacher at Brooklyn Techincal High School and currently programs in his free time. He & his brother/business part, Alex, are responsible for all VSPOT recipes at both locations.Alex Carabano is a stand up comedian who's filmed with HBO and handles all VSPOT graphic design needs in his free time."

Great vegan fast food that even carnivores can enjoy. The lentil soup is really filling along with the tacos and salad. The lasagna is also a special treat. If you want to go for amazing junk food check out the avocado French fries!Food: 5/5

I walked inside to order and was looked up and down. I usually order on uber eats but i realized it was close to my apartment. After placing my order myself the same guy whos sitting in the front asked me did you order lol I want be coming back here again customer service horrible and was i racial profile.Food: 5/5
Honestly if you are out looking for healthy and great taste with good atmosphere, go here. The owners are usually present and very friendly, free appetizers kind of friendly. They also own a comedy club in the city which i also highly recommend. 5 out 5Food: 5/5

The food, service and atmosphere were incredible. 10-15 min walking distance from the Brooklyn museum. I went in and it was so convenient to order, i just scanned the qr code from the table and I placed the order. It came quick and the host was great. The food was incredible, the empanadas with the pink sauce was everything. Great ambience also, great experience all the way around... and affordable Vegetarian options: All vegan spot so if you're vegan like me you don't have to be worried about what you can eat on the menu.
Decent food. Looks better than it tastes. Half the food on my plate lacked salt. I probably wouldn't go back for anything but the triple chocolate fuged brownies. Thats the only reason they get a five-star rather than four. It's served warm. Hot sause it realllllllly hot. If you try it, you better really be about that life. Just finished dinner here with a party of 10 and every single plate is empty. I’m always hesitant going to vegan restaurants but this place is next level delicious. GET THE AVOCADO FRIES. GET THE SPICY KALE TACOS. So many awesome healthy menu items. Steve was waiting on our party. Looked like he was working solo, but he was super nice and patient with us. Will definitely be back.
We organized presentations for a small conference recently and had VSPOT during two of the days. Not only was the food delicious but it felt nutritious and healthy. We had long days all weekend long with workshops and actions, the food provided gave us great fuel. The empanadas and pasta were a favorite of our 60-65 ish people. Danny was also very nice. We highly recommend!
Food is good, we had the aprtiser plate with a mix of everything, and a nacos entre. It was well enough for two persons. Service is quick, and a bit layed back. Atmosphere wise it feels like a fast food place. Vegetarian options: Fully vegan restaurant
