The pharmacist that helped us was incredibly rude. I couldn't see his entire name tag, but it started with Nor. I was picking up 2 prescriptions, one for myself and for my partner who is also sick. The first time we went thru the drive thru, we were told it would be a 30 minute wait. This wasn't an issue and we returned half an hour later. When we came back, he acted very annoyed that we were there. He was further mad when I mentioned I was picking up a 2nd prescription, and didn't ask for the birth date on it. This seems like such a security hazard. Furthermore, he refused to let us use a Goodrx coupon and said, "it's only $10". Horrible customer service. This was my first time filling a prescription here, but I won't be back.
DO NOT GO HERE FOR PRESCRIPTIONS. Someone "accidentally" closed a prescription with 11 refills remaining. I called and complained, and they faxed the doctor for a new prescription. My doctor approved the prescription. Walgreens marked the prescription as unapproved. This is the fourth MAJOR error in a month. There have been many errors in the past which I have forgiven, because nobody's perfect, but this is gross negligence at least. I'll never come back, and I'm telling everyone I know. What if someone switched my meds? I could be taking rat poison, for all I know.
Ordered through their website to have my $300+ prescriptions delivered same day - Yesterday. They keep telling me it was placed through Door Dash. I did not use Door Dash, in what world would I use that service to deliver hundreds of dollars of medication or medical devices? When I called today to see where it is, it's still sitting on the shelf. One person got mad and handed the phone to another, now the order is cancelled and I can't go pick it up until the pre-auth from my bank disappears. What a waste of my time. And thanks for making this day two of not having my CGM and medication.
They work hard and have helped my family navigate some difficult times. They are processing 700 prescriptions a day, plus dealing with insurances, dealing with hundreds of phone calls from people doctors insurances , giving several different kinds of vaccination every 15 to 20 minutes through out the day, giving covid-19 testing, not to mention dealing with low staff. People need to chill they are not Mcdonalds.
Is Walgreens losing money on prescriptions and pharmacy? Well, you'd think so, considering how understaffed they are. Sometimes, it is just the poor pharmacist scrambling madly while cars pile up in the drive-thru. Really Walgreens? Ya can't afford some more help? Can't find any? Try paying a respectable wage and offering killer benefits? No, didn't think so. Maybe something ya'll should consider. I'm pretty close to just switching to the longer drive to Costco, it would likely still save me time. AND by the way - the employees you do manage to get to work for you: Give them a raise and some dignity. They are good people, serving customers the best they can. Cheers to the employees and boo to the C-level suite at Walgreens. Boo to ya all, you should be ashamed, but I know you're not capable.
Can you say disorganized and slow as molasses??? Geez, one poor tech running between the window and counter while the other Tech and Pharmacist not helping one bit. Poor kid. The pharmacist even dropped a box on the ground and was too good to pick it up made the poor kid get it.
Extremely slow! I get the short staff these days but still...was this way for a few years. Doesn't matter what time of day it's always backed up. Tell you it will be ready in 2hrs...go in 3.5hrs later...it'll be ready at 7. Poor performance. Sit on hold when calling for 2hrs.
Since 0 stars isn't an option....Went to pick up and there was a paper sign in the window saying they have temporary different hours. The sign said the location of the closest 24 hour, so I drove 30 miles to pick up there. Guess what....there was another paper sign in the window saying the 24 hour pharmacy was closed today!! Never going to another Walgreens again...
I never considered the fact that I may have died in my sleep and was unknowingly existing as an entity unable to be seen by human eyes. Or whatever robutt versions of humans they hire here in the pharmacy. Their programming does not allow them to greet or address Biological life forms. Dehumanizing them further. Their ability to avoid eye contact, unwillingness to speak to or show any empathy for their captives who just showed up for meds to make life livable is next level sociopathic, or robotic and a sad commentary on the future of society as our robutt masters drive the humanity out of us. Prices are the same as about anywhere else. Let’s go there instead. It’s the only way the humans can survive! I’ve never been so consistently treated badly as a customer. These peoples work environment must be hellish for them to treat other humans this way. Someday there will be a tribunal where the best defense is “they were just doing as they were told.” Find another place to get your stuff kids. These people don’t care about you one drill bit.
Wish I could give 0 stars. I have had so many problems. I’ve had them give me the wrong doses of several prescriptions several times. I’ve had a them refilling birth control out of the blue even though I was 7 mo pregnant and obviously didn’t need it. Now that I do need it, they are giving me the wrong birth control that I don’t have a prescription for. Good thing I caught it, cause it’s for breastfeeding women. I’m not breastfeeding, which means it offers very little protection. At one point they had 2 profiles for me and randomly started giving me prescriptions from years ago. But I can’t get over the wrong doses. That’s dangerous and could seriously hurt someone.
