My experience with the pharmacist on duty today wasn’t the best, when picking up a prescription being met with an attitude isn’t the way. I was told that they would no long fill a prescription which is fine but, the attitude was the problem. When speaking with a customer please use kindness at all times especially when they’re just picking up a prescription from a pharmacy they’ve used for years. Customers aren’t always aware of policies and policy changes so being short with them is very alarming, kindness is always the easiest way when dealing with the public.
The pharmacist is one of the rudest people I've ever had to deal with. She acts like you're just an inconvenience to her day if you have to talk to her. One of my medications that could kill me if stopped taking it is consistently out of stock. And she is in no hurry to transfer your perscriptions. I transferred all of my medications to another pharmacy. The pharmacist is on the top of the reasons why.
Pharmacist on duty on May 20,2024 at ~5:30pm was incredibly rude and short with me when I tried to pickup my prescription. She did not listen to my query/issue and jumped to conclusions which were inevitably incorrect. I ended up not even getting my medicine. Will not be returning to this location. If I could give zero stars I would.
Nobody works here. The Pharmacy department is consistently unavailable during the posted business hours. Its ridiculous.. and nobody cares!
Went to print brochures and the manager at first flat out ignored me and my request for help. As in didn’t even turn to acknowledge me. Then after me asking a second time to please help the brochures came out horrible and useless. Manager stated it was just how the printer works. This Walgreens is the worst. The pharmacist who attempted to help was nice. They need to clean house as far as management.
When a doctor called in a very expensive lotion,I was not contacted til I got to the pickup window.I was put on the spot to buy or not buy.No opportunity to contact the Doctor for a cheaper product.I informed the clerk I did not want any more of the specific product. The same day I went through the drive through and picked other drugs but they included that expensive drug. The audio at the window was so low you could not hear the clerk so when I paid and realized the expensive drug was included ,which I earlier, informed the clerk I did not want anymore of this drug. The clerk refused to take the drug back.Shame on Walgreens !Please repair your audio system at the drive thru.I hope no one else experiences this.
Simply atrocious service. This happened night of the 19th of September but I figured I'd go on ahead and share my experience here. I forgot a few things and had to go in and out of the store no fewer than 3 times... Apparently this was not allowed as when I checked out, the manager informed me that I was making the workers "uncomfortable" just by going in and out of the store. I work retail. And In the past day, I've had no fewer than THREE different customers enter and exit the store I work at. Did I feel "uncomfortable?" NO! As a matter of fact, I was flattered to know that customers felt welcome enough to return, no matter the reason, no matter what time, no matter how many times. What does it matter as long as they're friendly and spending money? At first I was worried this may have been racially motivated, but looking at the other reviews I'm honestly not sure... They don't seem to have a good reputation among anyone. This place appears to just have bad service across the board, which is a shame. I used to enjoy going to Walgreens. I used to enjoy this location as it always seems to have what I'm looking for, but after that night? Well, I'd hate to give them what they wanted, but I really don't know if I'll be back.
Literally the worst Walgreens in existence. They are so rude any time you go in to pick up a RX. Not to mention the condescension about the medicines you are on. Not to mention the drive through. Trying to get through there in less than 45 minutes is a miracle. Then to get to the window and have to deal with the rudest human beings in existence. Just wait until they break hippa and post your diagnoses online.
"You should just be glad I haven't walked out today." - Jessica, the pharmacist working on 10/26/23 at the Walgreens on Green Valley in Cahaba Heights. The first time I came though the drive thru I was told my daughter's prescription would be ready in 15 minutes. Fine. Not unusual or a big deal. I leave and come back after more than that time has passed. I come back through the drive thru a second time. I'm told my prescription is ready, but that the pharmacist has gone to the bathroom and I needed to wait on her to return in order to get my prescription. After a few minutes, Brad who said he was the operations manager, told me I couldn't wait any longer and needed to drive around and go to the back of the line which was 3 cars deep. Fine. I pull around a third time and another woman is at the window and says my prescription is ready, but now the pharmacist is in a meeting and can't verify my prescription so she isn't sure when it will be ready. She told me I should come into the building to wait. I explained I had a sick and vomiting child in my car and that is why I was attempting to use the drive thru. Suddenly, Jessica the pharmacist finally appears and rudely asks if I want my prescription. Yes, I'd love that. It's the only reason I'm here. I'm told my prescription is ready. Exasperated, she says, "Fine, I'll get it ready. You should just be glad I haven't walked out today." I'm sorry. What? I'm supposed to be glad she is going to actually do the job she is paid to do? I just wanted my daughter's meds, not Jessica's drama. I'm sorry Jessica was having a bad work day, but there was no need to take it out on me, a customer who was just trying to pick up my prescription for my sick child that I had been repeatedly told was ready. Someone needs to explain to Jessica that being rude to customers isn't right or good, and that pharmacists are expected to work while they are at work aka fill prescriptions for the people who use your pharmacy. If you are still reading, I say all this to say: don't use this pharmacy. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else.
I wanted to give this location ZERO stars, but apparently, you have to give at least one. This store is totally unreliable. Tonight the whole store was closed down at 6pm b/c all of their systems were down. This has happened before too. How???? Couldn't get prescriptions that were needed TODAY. In the recent past, the pharmacy has been closed at random times b/c they are short-staffed or again, systems are down. Several times they say they can't fill certain drugs when other pharmacies can. Moving prescriptions elsewhere.
