I really struggle with this location for a few reasons. Here is the tip of the iceberg: - They do not refill my prescriptions automatically like they are supposed to, resulting in hours of work for me every single month. - Wait times are always long. - I always end up having to call and wait an hour on hold because they never refill my prescriptions automatically or on time. Sometimes it takes days even when I call them to let them know they are late on medications I rely on for daily life. - They add me to their internal program every time so I can receive text notifications, but each time - it never works. I never receive anything from them no matter how many times they reprogram it. When I sign in, my prescriptions do not show up on my account like they are supposed to so I can't refill them online instead of wasting hours on hold with them. I dread having to refill my medications every month because it takes so many hours and so much struggle. They never seem to have any recollection of me when I call, either, and are often rude and short with me despite a very patient demeanor. I understand that they can't control all of the technological aspects, but if I'm putting in hours of work, the least they could do is be understanding. - Their hold tone interrupts the music every 30 seconds to say "we're sorry to keep you waiting..." When you're on hold for an hour, that tone will make you want to bang your head against the wall when you hear it 120 times or more.
So sham full pharmacy the doctor ordered your medication after 24 or 48 hours not ready for pick up every time so pain.
Been going to this Walgreens since I was a kid and my god how awful its become. Running in to grab something quick has now become waiting 20-30 minutes while the one cashier who appears to be the only person working in the whole store checks out a growing line of 5+ people. No fault to the employees here, they try their best. Walgreens is putting way too much on their plate by criminally under hiring this store for how busy it is. I cant help but feel like a nuisance and a bother every time I go. So now I avoid going to this location whenever possible. I used to get my prescriptions here due to its convenient location but now, regardless of the time I go, I'll wait in line for about an hour at both the drive thru and in person. With each person taking 20 minutes on average. I'm moving as many prescriptions as possible over to another pharmacy because the lines and waiting on hold for an hour just to talk to someone is getting completely ridiculous. I hope corporate pulls their head out of their a$@ and starts paying people more to draw in more employees or this Walgreens will continue to decline.
If you want your prescription to be on auto-refill, my recommendation would be to not do it through this location. I haven’t had issues with this up until the last 4-5 months. My sons seizure medication has been “in progress” the last handful of days. This has happened every month as soon as it’s ready to refill, then when I call I am on hold for no less than 30 minutes, to be told they can have it ready in a few minutes. Why couldn’t it have been refilled on the day it was due if it only takes a few minutes? I can’t risk my son going without his medication, and I know others are reliant on theirs as well so I am not sure what the lack of urgency is when it comes to re-filling prescriptions.
I have had nothing but terrible experiences with all Walgreens stores since COVID. They are so busy because they're so understaffed and it results in prescriptions being messed up constantly. I went last night to get my prescriptions and two of them were not there even though I had waited an HOUR on hold yesterday to get them to fix them. Walgreens is not doing itself any favors by short staffing their employees and losing customers. Even with that, I've had to leave stores I went to for years in the city because they don't even use baskets anymore because people run out of the store stealing. Almost everything in inner city Walgreens are behind plexiglass so even if I had a basket it would be impossible to shop for anything. I might have to switch to a private pharmacy because I have already switched three different Walgreens hoping things would improve and they have not.
Friendly and polite workers. Sad that people choose to think they can just walk out the door with whatever they please. To you workers I give all of you credit for dealing with it so well and trying not to make to big a scene. To you THEIVES one day you will be back on your feet REMEMBER WHAT GOES AROUND COMES BACK AROUND 100X WORST THESE DAYS! Great job Walgreens employees
Asking for assistance and reiterating a conversation that I had with a Walgreens pharmacist prior to today. I will be following up with Walgreens policies and procedures and reading the fine print. The women assisting me at the pharmacy counter proceeded to have a shouting match across the store isles. Although she did not even attempt to look up the facts. She took it at someone else’s word. That person she spoke with also look like they were in an extreme bad mood. I doubt they understand Walgreens policies and procedures either. Clearly she does not understand customer service or when it’s smart to not yell across several isles while behind the pharmacy counter. I hope it is recorded on camera and microphone. Very very bad customer service. And because of that I am sure I am not going to have my prescription ready by the time I need it. They seem like that kind of a crowd. I look forward to reading the fine print and contacting Walgreens corporate office. And I’m not usually that kind of person. However, if I employed someone that ridiculous I would hope someone would let me know.
I used to love love love this store.!! I believe the reason they don't have enough staff is because they don't offer enough pay! I just came out of there tonight without purchasing anything because they have taken the carts away saying that people steal them. That might be but what about elderly people with bad hips bad knees who want to buy a case of water etc? That is why I do not shop here tonight but things I wanted to shop for couldn't be carried in my arms like a case of pop, pack of paper towels & probably a bunch of Halloween stuff. Bummer
Had a really unpleasant experience this morning when calling about a prescription. I was notified that it was ready for pickup last week and when my husband went to get it, it was not ready. Now it is gone from their system entirely? The pharmacist this morning kept referring to what I was saying as "your story"... Very weird, very rude, implying I was lying? I've picked up this prescription for years from this pharmacy. Bizarre.
This is not a review of Walgreens. Rather, it is a review of one of their products. At first, I thought their razors were too big and boxy. Unlike the thin and lightweight blade of the Mach3 blades by Gillette, I gave them a fair review originally. Now that I have used them for many months, I will never use another brand of razor. They give a great shave and to my surprise, they last more than twice as long as the Mach3.
