Love this place! Staff is always helpful and friendly, store is always impeccable clean and great varieties to choose from. Has a rewards program that give you excellent savings deals and discounts! Just wish the pharmacy was open on Sundays...

I will never as long as I live, patronize Walgreens Altoona Pa. I went in for a simple covid booster shot. After approaching employee Lisa R, at the pharmacy, she had a attitude. You never get a second chance at a first impression. I was handed the necessary paper to fill out. Returned it, than I sat over 45 minutes for a shot that takes 3 seconds. By the time the pharmacist was ready to give me the shot, I was so disgusted, I just wanted my card back, without the shot. Upset and on my way out, I voiced my displeasure to her. Not only did I waste my time, I wasted my gas. Never again Walgreens.

I typically use another pharmacy, but my doctor suggested I use Walgreens in Altoona for a specific prescription. They called me about how my insurance did not cover it. A staff member left a message that I could hardly understand. The message was choppy and unclear. I called back shortly after and the women I spoke to was incredibly rude and condescending when I asked questions. I will never use this pharmacy again.

What big chain pharmacy closes Saturday and Sunday!? Walgreens that’s who..

I didn’t catch her name but the lady that was checking us out was rude. We were looking for something and decided to ask the lady if they had any in the back and she said no without looking even though the lady in front of us came out of the back with a bag full of the things we wanted and the cashier and the other lady were being secretive about it. You could clearly see through the bag. Thanks for lying straight to our faces : If I could give this store no stars, I would.

All they care about is COVID shots. They don't really work with you too get a regular flu shot. They don't post anywhere that this location is by appointment only for all vaccines not just COVID. I will pay for a flu vaccine for the military because they wouldn't even help me get an appointment.

Usually I am very happy with the photos that I order, but today on August 13th 2019 whoever is working there is doing an awful job. I printed off photos from our wedding and made multiple prints of the same photo, some of them are blurry, some of them are blue tinted and some of them are fine. the same photo is printed inconsistently. Also, when ordering 8 by 10 photos they were rotated and zoomed in vertically so far that it made my professional photos look blurry. Waste of time and money, I wouldn't suggest getting photo prints here.

I have never had a good experience with this location since moving from TN 6 months ago. Staff is rude and prescriptions are never ready as promised or they try to tell you the insurance didn't cover anything it covered before...Then yesterday it amazed me that a pharmacy tech was being allowed to use CHEESE CLOTH as her required face mask. I could see her mouth the entire time she was talking...are you kidding me!
