Visited this pharmacy 3 times over the last 3 days but the line was so long, I waited in line for almost an hour each time and still never made it the front. I tried: 12 am, 11am and 8pm… long wait with no resolve. I’ll give them 2 stars because I finally called to have the prescription transferred to another Walgreens, they were quick over the phone and transferred it immediately
Was left on hold for 50 minutes while calling in a prescription for a patient I'm a provider. Went to the store as no one would answer the phone, was made to wait, then told it would take an additional hour to fill it was 9:30pm, and the meds were for a family member. Gave up and went home. Not a single employee, from techs to pharmacist, gave me the impression they actually cared that they were providing poor service. Edit: Changing from one to two. Initially I called their customer concerns line and was told I'd be contacted within 48 hours. Four days later I called again, and was again told 48 hours. Three days later, I called and made clear I'd be contacted that day, and I was by the store manager and later by the regional manager. Both agreed that leaving anyone on hold for 50 minutes was not okay, and that having been apprised that was how I was treated, the staff should have handled the situation much better. Hopefully in future that will be the case.
THE WORST!!! Waited half an hour in line to be told they didn't have my prescription. Took the email and fax number from my doctor inside, waited fifteen minutes to be told they don't have it. Made them check their faxes, there were over 30 sitting in a pile to be told they don't have it. Finally they found it on someone's table, unfilled and told to come back tomorrow. I refused, told to come back in two hours. Again I refused and now they say I have to come back in an hour. I'm due to catch a flight and am out of time to wait that long. These people are standing around drinking Red Bull and failing miserably. This used to be my go to place but they are the worst now!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
Rudest employees of all time in the pharmacy. Avoid at all costs. If you call, expect to be put on hold over and over and over again until you have to physically drive to the Pharmacy to actually talk to someone. This is horrendous. Not to mention, I need my medication! It can’t be transferred and nobody will pick up. Not even kidding, 3rd time with this issue. Do better.
The worst Walgreens location, it’s unbelievable that this is the team for southpark mall location. Lazy staff doesn’t want to work or even answering a simple question. I waited for the Pharmacist for over 10 mins at the window for a quick recommendation and all the associates said the lady is waiting for you for question and she kept saying “what lady” and she never came. Very disrespectful!
This pharmacy takes forever to get your medicine ready. It takes even longer for you to receive it as the lines are always out the door. I switched to this pharmacy because it was easier for me to pick up my medicine being that they are 24 hours. It’s been a nightmare ever since I started coming to this pharmacy and my final straw is them giving me another patient medication, I take a .5 mg lorazepam for anxiety and I never noticed that I received someone else’s medication, which was 25 mg of promethazine. I’ve been having extreme drowsiness and complications due to this. I am able to take my prescribed medicine and operate throughout the day and this has been a nightmare of a week and I just now found the reason why I have been falling asleep often in places that are not appropriate. This is the absolute nightmare and completely embarrassing.
The pharmacy here provides poor customer service. Yesterday I got a notice that my prescription was ready- well, it was not ready when I got there, and was told to come back in an hour. I didn't have time to go back that day so I went this morning to pick it up. I was told that the prescription was out of stock. The pharmacist didn't bother to listen to me or look into why the prescription was there the day before. Not that it matters to anyone at Walgreens but after that experience I called my doctor's office and transferred my prescription to a different and hopefully more competent pharmacy.
The pharmacy is the worst! Had me on hold forever. When they finally answered told me to hold. Then never picked up. I've seen almost identical reviews for months. Guess they don't care about customer service.
I visited the pharmacy at this location at which time a young male pharmacy tech and the manager were manning the counter. After the tech waited on the customer in front of me he went on to work on the computer, failing to acknowledge me in any way. The manager became available after exchanging elongated pleasantries with an older white female customer. I was next and instead of greeting me with "Hello, how can I help you?" He just.made eye contact and waited for me to say something. I am a person of color and the discrepancy in treatment was obvious. Corporate you need to retrain some of your staff here on customer service. I left and took my business to a rival pharmacy.
my go to walgreens however the staff can be better to customers. I just don't understand why they would have 2 walgreens in southpark mall I think its dumb. I prefer the other location to be rite aid or cvs.
