Found Bernie online, called him last minute, he was completely welcoming and charming! He has great equipment, clean and well maintained. When we capsized one of the kayaks through our own actions, he was quick to respond and brought us all back to shore with good attitude and lots of care and concern. He runs a great business, he is kind, funny and makes sure you are good to go. Oh, the cove is really cool, the bird sanctuary up from him is great, lots of wildlife to see. Cove is very calm, great for beginners.

I had the best time. The owner Bernie is a sweetheart. At the end of my two hours we thought I left my cell phone and keys in a little tube floating out in the water and Bernie took his personal boat out and helped me until i found them. I will definitely be going back! 5 stars allll day 💙

Easy to get to, great parking, great prices, flexible on time, easy to access water, nice, new kayaks, new canoe with room for 3 (or 2 and a dog). He's also got a small K9 water vest if your dog is around 15lbs or less. Bernie gets it all right and doesn't sweat the small stuff. And 100 Arcre Cove is really gorgeous. Not a strong current, hardly any boat traffic, not much shore fishing, not super deep, pretty chill and safe even for littles, can touch bottom most places 3-5' deep except for deepest parts, bird sanctuary visible all along Western shore and lots of small islands for resting, picnic, etc. Only thing to prep for is mud. Not many rocky/sandy spots to park, mostly mud. Tight fitting water shoes should do trick (is avoid flip flops/sandals - you'll lose them in the mud). Great time!

This is the kind or place and the kind of person you want to give you a memorable New England kayaking experience! Bernie, the owner, is a nice, friendly guy that runs a small, family-owned business. That's all I really need to say. Find out for yourself.
