I have been bringing my baby here for about 10 years now. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I have her nails clipped monthly and she is giant. She gets excited when I pull up there. They have removed a tumor, and some skin tags, send me reminders when she is due for a vaccine. They also told me the first day I brought her in, because I bought her off a local classified website, that she was recently in a shelter, and the person that adopted her should not have sold her. So they reported it and got her vaccination records for me. They recommended a diet plan a few years ago and it has worked. I highly recommend Wasatch Springs Animal Hospital. Thank you all for being so caring to my Lily.
I have been coming to this doctor since 2001, when I moved into this area and my ex-wife and all my immediate family take their pets here. The staff and doctor Blotter are wonderful! You can’t find a more knowledgeable and caring veterinarian anywhere, and they will be open and honest with you about what needs to be done in a time where hard decisions sometimes have to be made. I’ve never felt like they have done more or less than one needs to be done for my cats and dogs that I’ve taken there. I’ve probably been in here a couple of dozen times over the years and I’ve never had anything but excellent care.
I've been coming to Wasatch Springs Animal Hospital since 2014 when other vets failed to diagnose my dog's kidney cancer. Dr. Blotter was able to provide an accurate diagnosis and help us provide at-home treatment for the duration of her illness, which was terminal. Since then, I don't trust any other veterinarians with my animals. Dr. Blotter and the other staff at Wasatch Springs provide the best care, are amazing with animals, and they provide real medical help for sick pets. When there are so many charlatans out there claiming to be veterinarians, it's comforting to know that I'm taking our little loved ones to a genuine medical expert.
The staff is amazing. I trust Dr Blotter because he is very straightforward and honest. My dog is very old and with that comes age related issues. Dr. Blotter always ensures that whatever steps we take that the my pup is comfortable and living his best life.
Thank you, thank you for your expertise and kind care to Gus. What a difference it made to get that little tiny weed out. You are appreciated more than you could ever imagine. And your staff were always responsive and caring.
We’ve been going to Wasatch Springs Animal Hospital for almost 2 decades. Dr Blotter is warm and caring and has always seemed to have had our pets’ best interest in mind. He doesn’t suggest unnecessary procedures and is always frank. And the rest of the staff has always been top notch, friendly and professional, too! It feels like small home town personalized attention all the time. Dr Blotter is our family doctor for our fur babies.
I took my 5 year old cat here to get spayed. The procedure itself went fine, but I later learned that they did not weight my cat and gave her too much anesthesia. My cat was in a lot of pain, so we came back for pain medication and gave it to her, because the vet prescribed it. The next day, my cat was cold and when I got her to a different pet hospital, she had died. I then learned that they had given her too much anesthesia along with the medication they gave her being a blood pressure medication, it made her heart stop. The vets then claimed we never came in until we gave proof. My cat was resuscitated and fought for her life for a week until Tuesday when she had to officially be put down because her lungs kept filling with fluids being a side effect of her death. We spent over $12,000 trying to save her until the vets eventually told us it wouldn’t be worth it, even with all the money in the world. All of this could’ve been prevented by prescribing her a different medication and weighing her, both weighing and medication background checks should be customary, but the gross negligence is very apparent. If you care about your pet's wellbeing, please do not take them here for any operation. Your pet is not in good hands. You can stop yourself from making the same mistake I did. I love you always Kiwi.
This place needs to be shut down. My son took his cat yesterday to get spayed in the morning. Picked her up by 2 pm howling in pain. It continued. I knew in my heart something wasn't right. She's suffered over night. This morning she was still suffering. She nearly died in my son's arms devasting is all. Luckily another reputable place was able to revive her. It's touch and go at this point. Will know more in the morning if she makes it. Extremely pissed off. This should not be happening for something so routine in this profession. Lawyers will be involved. Will not be allowed to continue.
My dog nearly died from getting spayed by the Vet. I tried calling the same day but no one answered, i tried calling them to let them know about what had happened and no one has answers on where the Vet is "Hes on vacation" or "on lunch", from reading the reviews seems like him being om vacation is there go to when they know the messed up on an animals surgery. They better have good answers the next time i call. Your pet is safer getting spayed or treated somewhere else.
Dr. Blotter has been the veterinarian for all of my cats and dogs for 30 years. Always honest and caring.
