Do not wash your clothes here, you WILL get bed bugs and other types of infestation EDIT: when I approached an employee who was “cleaning”, she told me there was “nothing she could do”. This place is going to spread so many diseases around the upper west side
Somebody stole our clothes mid wash and the laundromat was not helpful at all. They offered no sympathy or accountability. We have been coming here for years and won’t come back. Some of our favorite t-shirts were in that load that hold sentimental value and it’s very disappointing. We wish the laundromat would make it right somehow or acknowledge their security issue.
I hate doing laundry but this place washes my anxiety. The people that run it know me and cheer me up and keep it going.
Friendly staff, machines works great, and prices is very affordable!
Been going here for years and finally had to invest in my own washer and dryer. Got sick and tired of broken down machines, with no reimbursements, to roaches crawling around freely. On top of that, if you decide to go to the store when your clothes are almost done, there is a HIGHLY likely chance the employees will take out your clothes, and leave them in a basket idly. Not worth the prices, for half dried clothes or barely rinsed through. You’re better off walking to the next avenue over for legitimate options and cleaner choices.
Surfaces were clean. Machines appear in good shape. Current princes as of Nov 2023 0.25 per 5min dryer 3.50 small washer 5.25 med washerh 6.50 large washer Change machine dispensed the correct amount from a $10 bill.
Got repeatedly yelled at by employee for using coin machine while I was doing my laundry so I could pay for the dryer. Been a loyal customer for months and was treated very badly. No apology, and had to prove that it was my clothes in the washing machines I was using.
I go super early before. It gets too crowded, but the machines are powerful.Makes the price easier to bear.
They upgraded the dryers, this place is clean and well run.
Management is awful and nasty. If I could leave less than a star I would. See below for detailed explanation Washers are fine, they get the job done. Driers are hit or miss, which they do not disclose until after your clothes are dried. Prices are fine for laundromat 25 cents for 15 mins. I paid $1.50 to dry my clothes for half an hour, opened the drier and the clothes were still soaking wet and the walls of the drier were cold. I suspect the drier was broken because I used the drier below the broken one and while it did not dry my clothes fully the walls of the drier were still warm. I approached management to let them know and initial remark was “I’m not refunding you” without even hearing me out. I continue to tell her the drier is broken and she says “no you did not close the drier fully so it didn’t dry.” I respond with “if that is the case wouldn’t the walls of the drier be at least warm if the drier was in fact heating.” She continued to tell me that I did not close the drier correctly and would not respond to my remark that the walls of the drier were cold. After the back and forth I recognize my dignity is worth more than $1.50 and walk away to grab my clothes and leave that place. After 5 mins she came by placed a “drier is broken” sign and tried to offer me $1. I told her I did not want her money and even if I did it was $1.50. She stormed away yelling things, came back 5 mins later with $1.50 to which I told her I didn’t want her money or to ever come back again. Additional note- laundromat ignores that there is a man who is in need of medical attention and/or mental help sitting in the middle of the laundromat. DO NOT EVER USE THIS LAUNDROMAT
