Our group had a great time at your center. We wished we could have stayed longer. The location was fabulous. The space was clean. The staff were super helpful and welcoming. And parking !!
Was great for our group of about 15 people for the week. They left a small container of snacks for us and a nice message on the board when we got there. The location is great, and the bedding accommodations were great also. Overall a great experience!
I stayed at this site for a spring break service trip with a university group. It served exactly the purposed we needed for modest and simple housing for a large group. Very affordable and great location!
Great location to take a group to stay in DC. The location was a great space for our 4-H teens to learn what it is like to live in the city. Its close to all the major sights and the metro.
Our group enjoyed our stay here. We had everything that we needed, and the center is comfortable, safe, and in a great location.
There is available parking. The photographs are incredibly misleading, the photographer could make Susan Boyle look like Mila Kunis. I’m confident that medieval dungeons would be more comfortable and welcoming than this place.
The bunk beds could have been taken directly from a navy seal training camp, like sleeping in a torture device. The artefacts spread throughout the hostel make the place really messy.
The amount of ants and flies were immediately apparent, looks like the set of A Bugs’ Life. The locked fire escapes, like the nightmare scenes in Titanic of locked cages, are a massive concern and that’s not to mention the broken furniture.also there’s an elevator that a stranger walked in to the accommodation while we had 11 teenagers there.
I’d highly advise anyone to avoid at all costs. I’ll never be back.
However location is ideal.
One of the worst experiences of my life. I went there with a group, and the first thing you notice when you walk in is the smell. There weren't enough bunk beds, and I ended up on a couch straight out of the '60s, that also probably hadn't been wiped down since then either. The kitchen was just as bad. It was all cramped and dirty, and it was nigh impossible to feel comfortable eating so.ething that came out of that kitchen. The place was simply put, worse than a dumpster. If you can afford even the worst motel in the city, you definitely should do it. I know it felt like heaven when I checked into a Marriot. This place almost ruined my vacation, and a Marriot was cheaper.
Roaches on the floor and mold everywhere! The entire place needs to be flipped.
Good place to stay in Capitol Hill
