As ever, staff at the gallery were friendly and helpful. My pieces arrived sooner than expected and, now that both are hung, look just as good as I hoped they would.

I’ve bought several pieces of art from Watergate Street Gallery. The staff are very attentive and knowledgable and only to happy to help. We also get invited to special artist viewings which are great to attend.

Dealt with Alex at Watergate Street Gallery last week to purchase 'Sphinx Mekhat' by Gareth Tristan Evans. Lovely to chat to, very helpful, everything sorted out very easily. On the first working day after the bank holiday I was notified the piece had been dispatched by secure courier as it was in a glassed frame. It arrived as expected and in very good order. It now hangs on my wall, a stunning piece by an excellent artist. A great experience from start to finish.

Absolutely disgusted at the poor customer service provided by this gallery. Sold a Kerry Darlington as "Original" on the 08/10/21 Specifically told it was an "Original" advertised as an "Original" and marked on the receipt as an "Original" to find it was actually an Artist proof. After carrying out my own research I brought this to the attention of the gallery manager today and was told the sales assistant was part time and didn't realise until they brought another proof out of storage. However still failed to contact me to inform me of the massive mistake. Offered a mere £50 as a gesture of goodwill. Mis-sold, Incorrectly advertised and failed to notify the customer - for a gallery that has been in business for 20+ years and professes to be the no1 Independent gallery this is a disgrace. If you choose to buy from this gallery my advise is to fully research before you hand over your money. On this occasion they don't seem to know what they are on about.

One of the best galleries in the North. Large selection of originals and limited, wide range of genres and prices, all beautifully displayed across several rooms. Service was fantastic both in store and online when I made a retrospective purchase. My questions were answered almost instantly, and my order arrived in perfect condition and within the timeframe they had given.
