Wayback Burgers

Always a great burger. Limited menu but good food. Definitely not cheap, but way better than a McDs or BK option. Sides are small, but good. Overall a good choice for a fast casual restaurant

I had Philly cheese steak. It was ok. Nothing to brag about.

We ordered online with special instructions on one of the burgers. Add chili ($.75 extra) and no cheese. We specifically asked for dairy free for a food allergy. I should have opened the burgers before we left, but I only counted the items. When we got home, we found that not only was the chili left off the burger, but it had cheese on it. Back in the car, back to the shop where I showed them the slip and asked for the whole order to be redone ( it was now 45 min old, cold and soggy from the back and forth in the car). Fast forward ten min, and I have my new order... And this time I opened my wife's burger to verify that it was correct... But I didn't count the items in the bag... Guess where this is going? I returned home to find that this time we had no fries. This time, we are starving, and ate the burgers, but called in to see if we can get a refund for the fries. They told us that we can't get a refund, but they took our name so we can get free fries next time. You'll forgive me if I don't hold my breath counting on that promise. Besides, I don't think we'll be going back. G's Burger is only about 5 min away.

I was visiting town and tried Wayback for the first time tonight (I am from NY). Although the food is great, employees were not following good food safety practices. The grill person was using his cell phone with gloves on and handling food, I saw the helper and cashier grab fries from the holding area and shoving them in their mouth to eat with gloves on that they were using to serve food. Although the food was GREAT, things like that do not make me feel that my food is made with care, will not be back.

While the burgers are good the staff is rude and unattentive. The middle aged female manager is exceptionally rude to customers and employees a like. I work in fast food and if I treated customers like the way these employees do I would be fired before the end of my shift.
