Wegmans

A good, even great, but not excellent grocery store. It has good prices, good selection, and the house brands are rather nice. Also the service is quite good. The house brand pet food is good to excellent quality and the dry food is mostly grain free. The beer and wine selection is better than any other grocery store in the area. With a good focus on regional beer selections. What I'm not a fan of is the meat dept. They do not have a butcher so a good deal of incidental things, like casing and specific weights, are not possible. I'm also not a fan of the bulk section since the selection sucks and the prices are rarely competitive with packaged goods. But aside from that I'm happy this is our primary market.

They have great prices and the Wegmans brand is awesome. My only problem with the store is the check out is always so slow. There are never enough lanes open.

Terrific grocery store. Don't expect the lowest prices, but quality and selection more than make up for it. Always a fun stop on a return trip from down south.

I live within a half mile of 2 other food supermarkets, and I travel over 30 miles to shop at Wegmans. Their quality, selection, partnerships with local farms is unmatched. LOVE this store.

Wegman's is consistently voted best grocery store in the US, better than Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. And for good reason. They have basically everything, high quality and lower prices than Giant.
